The Adventures of Sophia and Rosy- Chapter 2

Sophia's P.O.V

"Hi, I'm Calum."

Why was a guy this attractive even talking to me? No one other than my friends talk to me.

" um... I'm Sophia. But my friends call me Sophie."

As soon as he begins to talk again the teacher started talking. Thank god. I have never been good at talking to other people.

As the teacher went on about some project we have to due which is due by the end of May, I was writing in my journal. I love writing stories, creating new worlds for me to escape into. That's why I love books as well, I can escape. Mr. Goodwin talks about this project every. Single. Day. We have to chose a event that happened in time and write a 20 page paper on it. Dear god help me. It's December and I'm almost done though. I chose to do Pompeii, a city in 79 A.D that was destroyed by a Volcano named Mt. Vesuvius and is still be uncovered by all the ash and rock to this day. I'm on page 18 so that's good. It's good when you enjoy learning about your topic. It makes it a thousand times easier. Throughout the 50 minutes of I can't help but notice Calum staring at me. I look across the room to see Rosy looking at me, then at Calum, then back to me again winking at me. I mouthed no but I already know I won't hear the end of it from her. All of the sudden the bell rung and as soon as everyone started getting up the teacher said,

" The bell does not dismiss you, I do."

" Then what's the bell for?!" I heard Rosy yell. Everyone laughed because we've been waiting for someone to say that.

"You know what, you guys can stay a extra minute because of Rosy's mouth!" Mr. Goodwin said.

"Hey, your times up. Now you're on my time, and I'm not going to be late because of this." Calum said. At that moment he got up and left the class. Then everyone else started getting up and leaving. I know we are going to be in trouble tomorrow, but that was funny.

" Rosy I can't believe you just did that!" I said laughing.

" Well he can't just keep us." She said also laughing." Now we are at the last class period and that's gym. So I'm taking you home and we are going to continue watching pretty little liars. Got that?"

"I can't believe Alison is alive. I thought she was dead." I said.

"I did to, but you never know with that show."

As we walked into the gym after changing I saw Calum on the boys side of the gym with Ashton Irwin, Luke Hemmings, and Michael Clifford. He was laughing at something Luke had said, looks like he's already made friends. I couldn't help but keep my eyes on him. He's hot, and Rosy can't say anything because she's checking out her boyfriend Michael. I was the. Distracted by the loud whistle of the gym coaches signaling that it was time to begin the class period.
