I honestly had absolutely no clue what it is for this chapter, so eventually I thought, why not slay a villain? haha. Sorry if it's quite a short chapter, ranging 600-900 words, I'm REALLY stuck!

ALSO: thank you for voting and commenting, it means the world to me.

Thats it. Enough.

The wolf has been watching me for almost a week now, still finding out my weaknesses I presume. Maybe the Soul Thief already know's some, but he can't know all if he's still watching me, or maybe, he doesn't. Maybe he has to deliver.

A slight grin rose to my face, as I think maybe, if he dies and my theory of him already knowing is wrong, then just maybe, I still might have a chance at this ' gig '. Maybe I still can win the battle.

I decide to go hunt him down around midday tomorrow  after I've had something to eat. So I pack my hunting tools and a make-shift quilt, just incase I happen to stay overnight . Need to have precautions. I quickly realise that I need some spare food as well, which shouldn't be a problem considering how much I've already stocked up on. This is going really well for me.
Next day...
11:39 arrives and I choose to eat for 20 minutes. I get some deer and cook it over a fire, then quickly eat on the way as I pick my things up and walk to the door. I take a deep breath as the cold winters day absorbs me into the frost.

I grab my fathers Jacket, realising going in my clothes aren't going to keep me warm enough.

Finally, I get the familiar boot print as I step outside onto the layer of white below me. It's defiantly edging- or even in- near winter. I tread along the snow, trying to track down the beast. It was there this morning, so it's earthier getting food or returning to it's master. I hope it's not the latter.  There had to of been tracks, but I guess the newer, and vastly growing snow has covered them up. Perfect, absolutely perfect. Yup.

Eventually I find that i'm surrounded by a thick canopy of tree's soaring above me. That would explain why no more snow is falling on me, if nothing else. But then I think- where would i be hunting if I were a wolf, If I didn't want my tracks showing, if I wanted food, where would I go? the forest, of course!

I expressed a joyful smirk as I continue to track him down.

Prints. Paw prints. I found his prints, but they go towards the city, which means I think he's delivering the information. I go into a full blown sprint as I follow the tracks, trying my hardest to quicken. then I see a tail, slowly walking along. I use the last of my running energy and grab it.

The wolf is startled, then realises and begins to attempt to maim me. But I got advantage. I swing it round with all my might, trying to reach for my dagger while doing so. But then, it bites me. Deep, but not deep enough to cut bone, I scream in agony as I drop the wolf. Now it has the advantage.

"You cant beat me Kaity... You know you cant win..." he said, is a slow hissing voice. Startled, I finally grab ahold of my dagger, and wield it, aiming for the throat, but I only get it's collarbone.

" NOW YOU'VE DONE IT, I'M RIPPING YOU TO SHREDS! " It screamed, slowly morphing into a human, then back into a wolf. I gasp in fear, then get my senses together.

"you can do it Kait, come on Kaity..." I thought. Quickly, I pull out a bow, and shoot it's leg. I groan at the miss, but then it's suddenly behind me. I'm pulled down as my chest starts bleeding from scratches. I think about a possibility. I only brought one dagger, which is in the wolf, and arrows would be useless. So I find that physical combat is my only option, and attempt to switch us round. I elbow it in the guts, then quickly jump atop of the wolf. Now i'm atop of it.

My chest gains another twenty or so claws to it, but I try to ignore the agony. My mind is already foggy, I needed to stop this quick and staunch the blood flow. With the last bit of my energy, I quickly Punch it's stomach, then grab the dagger from it's collarbone. I Then begin to cut through it's neck, causing blood to cover me, wolf blood. I think, but then, it's also human. Freak.

The wolf gasps in horror, then quickly realises death is coming, I suddenly feel bad that It would die slow, even if it was trying to kill me. But then it snarls, thinking we could both go down. I find i'm clawed in the neck, blood pouring from me. I was going to let it die quick, but now it can suffer. I jump up, suddenly feeling I'm going to topple over. I try to run, but it fails, so I grab everything and try to make it to my own shelter, by walking, and crawling.

Then of course, night has to arrive, and I find myself in pitch black, stumbling through trees. I groan, finding theres still small drops of blood, and that I need to get back. Stupid, I should have brought a first aid kit. Oh well, nothing I can do about my own stupidity now. I growl and begin to stand- I crawled for a while- and find that I can some-what jog. deciding it's better then doing something else, I jog and then i see the outline of my shed. I try to increase my speed, but end up walking again.

I arrived, finally. I open the door, and search around my one other thing I brought, a first aid kit. I knew I would need it one day. I grab some aspirin for the pain, then find wound dressing and bandages. I go outside- again- and clean the blood of me, then apply some snow before it melts. It soothes me. I then return back to my home, and wrap the bandages all over my tender skin, causing me to feel relief that the blood stops. Bed time, I tell myself at 21:37 ( 9:37 pm if you don't want to do the math ) and rest my head down, drifting into a dreamless, calm slumber.
