Callie's POV:

He's bullied me since we started Middle school. (secondary school) we used to be best friends. What happened that made Chris hate me? I walked up to the school doors. I was immediately pushed against the locker by one of Chris's friends. Already today? Seriously? Ugh!

"W- what do you want C-Chris?" I asked trying to be confident.

"Go to class guys." Chris told them. I was let go of. Chris held my waist so I couldn't walk away.

"I'm gonna be late to class again." I mumbled under my breath, hoping Chris hadn't heard.

"Don't worry about that love." Chris said, his voice soft and kind. I haven't seen this side of Chris since fifth grade. (Year five) "Why don't you stand up for yourself Callie?" He asked.

I shrugged. Maybe because I have a crush on him and I have since I met him. And I'm honestly a little scared of him and his friends. He moved his hand off my waist and toward my face. I flinched.

"Are you scared of me? I would never hit you love." He said sweetly placing his hand on my cheek. He wiped away a tear i didn't even know fell. He pushed his lips to mine, kissing me soft and slowly. I kissed back and he pulled away resting his forehead against mine. "I love you Callie." He whispered softly to me. I smiled.

"I love you to Chris." I whispered back. He pulled me into a hug.

"Will you please be my girlfriend?" He asked.

"YES, OF COURSE!" I squealed in excitement.
