Natalia's POV:

I woke up next to Lachlan.

"Hey." He whispered softly to me.

"Thank you." I said.

"You're welcome." He said pulling me a little closer.

"Yes." I said. He looked confused. I giggled a little. "I'll go out with you this weekend." I said. He smiled.

"Okay." He said. I hugged him. He hugged me back.

~Next Day @ School~

Lachlan gave me a ride to school. We walked to our lockers. I grabbed my books. Lachlan and I were walking towards class when I heard Preston call my name. I took a deep breath. I turned to face him, Lachlan turned around too.

"Hey baby girl." He said.

"Don't call me that. We aren't together." I said to Preston.

"Why the fuck are you like this?" Preston asked.

"Because you kissed another girl infront of me. And then called me Worthless and pathetic." I said.

"I didn't mean any of it." He said. I walked into my class, Lachlan following me.

"He's such a liar." I said.

"I know, Talia." He said. I smiled at the nickname.

~Lunch~

Kayla came and sat next to me.

"How are you with the whole Preston being back thing?" She asked.

"He keeps trying to apologize for everything, but I'm not sure. I think he's lying."

"I don't know. I heard his parents sent him to live with his grandparents in Texas." She said.

"You think he really changed?" I asked.

"Yeah. He's not as rude as he was before. I think he's actually sorry."

"Well it's too late for him. I told Lachlan I'd go out with him this weekend." I said.

"Yay! I'm so proud of you." She said.

"I'm proud of myself too." I said. I saw Preston look at me. I had missed him. But he hurt me.

"Try to talk to Preston when Lachlan's not around." She said. I nodded.

~End Of The Day~

"Hey." I heard Preston say. Here goes nothing.

"Hey Preston." I said.

"You're actually gonna talk to me after what I did? Earlier you wanted nothing to do with me." He said. I turned around to look at him.

"I heard about you being sent to Texas." I said.

"Yeah. I'm really sorry about what I did. I was such a jerk, I'm not like that now. I would never hurt you. I was so stupid for doing that. And I'm really sorry." He said, only it sounded like he meant it. "And just so you know, I did actually miss you." He said.

"It's okay. And I can tell you've changed." I said.

"Do you wanna hang out soon? Not as like a date, but as friends?" He asked. I knew he had changed.

"Yeah." I said. Lachlan doesn't need to know. He smiled.

"Really?" Preston asked. I smiled.

"Yeah." I said. He hugged me. I hugged back.

~later~
(It's Friday)

Talia💛:
Let me check my oh so busy schedule... Of course lol

Yeah. What time?

Preston:
I can pick you up around 2?

I'm on my way.

Talia💛:
Okay.

Lachlan pulled up to my house and I went out and got in the car.

"Hey." He smiled

"Hey." I smiled back.
