Katie's POV:

I walk up to the school building. College, this is a BIG step in my life. I walk in and look for the room number of my class. Room 268. Science. I find the class and there's one seat left. Well, I guess thats my seat. I go and sit down next to a boy. He turns his head and smiles at me.

"Hi, I'm Tobi." He says sticking his hand out for me to shake

"Hi Tobi, I'm Katie." I say shaking his hand. The teacher starts the lesson and within the first 20 minutes of class, I'm already confussed.

~Time skip after class~

I put my notes away and went to walk away.

"Hey Katie!" Tobi called after me I turned around.

"Hey Tobi"

"Do you maybe want to hang out some time?"

"Yeah. That'd be cool" first day and I already made a friend? Sweet.

"Can I get your number so we can talk about a good time to hang out?"

"Sure." I said writting down my number on a blank piece of paper. I handed it to him.

"Thank you." He said giving me a warm smile. I smiled back.

"You're welcome." We went our seperate ways. I walked up to my dorm room and started on my english essay.

~3 hours later~

*bzz bzz*

my phone vibrated. I picked it up.

Unknown number:
Hey Katie, it's Tobi.

Me:
Hey Tobi. Whats up?

Tobi:
Not much, was wondering if you wanted to come play football with some of my friends and I.

Me:
sure. Sounds fun.

Tobi:
Okay, if you need a ride to the pitch let me know.

Me:
I do if that's okay.

Tobi:
Okay. Meet me in front of the school in about 10 minutes.

Me:
Okay. Thanks Tobi

Tobi:
You're welcome

I grabbed my football boots and my hoodie since it was cool out. I went down to the front of the school to see Tobi standing with what I'm assuming is one of his friends.

"Hey Tobi" I said walking over to them.

"Hey Katie." He said to me. He said bye to his friend and we went to the football pitch. When we got there there were 5 other people there.

"Hey guys, this is Katie." Tobi said introducing me. "Katie, this is Harry, CalFreezy, Ethan, Simon and my brother Manny."

"Hello" I said. They all said hello. We did a crossbar challenge and Ethan won. We did call out penalties and Cal won. We did slip and slide penalties and Harry won. We did a few others and had some fun with it. Once it started getting dark we all left. Tobi took me back to the school and left.

~1 month later~

I went to science like normal and sat in my normal seat next to Tobi.

"Hey Katie, the boys and I are going to the pitch after class, wanna come?"

"Yeah, sounds fun. Can I go to my dorm to grab my boots first?"

"Yeah, there's gonna be a few new people there today."

"Okay." The proffeser came in and started the lesson. I sat there taking notes for an hour before we were dissmissed. After class I went to my dorm and dropped off my books and grabbed my football boots. I met up with Tobi and we left for the pitch.

~at the pitch~

"Katie, these guys are Vik, Josh, JJ, Callux, Chris and you know the rest, guys, this is Katie."

"Hi Katie, it's nice to meet you." Vik said to me smiling. I smiled back.

"It's nice to meet you as well Vik" we did another Crossbar challenge and more penalties and it was really fun. Afterwards we went out for food. I sat between Vik and Tobi. After we ate Tobi and I went back to the campus but we walked around talking for a while.

"Hey Katie, can I tell you something?"

"Of course you can. We're friends, you can tell me anything"

"I like you and I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me." He said.

"I like you too, and yes I'll go on a date with you." I said smiling. He smiled and we hugged.

"I'll see you tomorrow in science." He said.

"See you in science."

~next day~

Science.. boring.. but Tobi's there.

I walked into the class. I sat next to Tobi and we talked until the professor came in. We had a test today. After class was dissmissed Tobi and I walked together.

"So that date we talked about. Does tonight work?" He smiled.

"Yes. Tonight will work." I smiled back.

"I'll pick you up at 7." He said. I nodded and went to my dorm to get ready.

~skip to date~

Tobi texted me that he was there and I grabbed my hoodie and met up with him. We went to the movies and afterward we got ice cream. We talked and laughed a lot. We got back to the school and he walked me to my dorm.

"I had fun tonight. Thank you Tobi." I said smiling at him. He smiled back.

"I'm glad we both had fun and you're welcome. Maybe we can do it again sometime."

"I'd love to."

"I'll see you tomorrow." He said giving me a hug.

"See you tomorrow."
