"Peter! Godammit, Peter, I told you to clean the living room, not put more of your mess in it!" Remus yelled to his roommate who was currently in the bathroom, attempting to clean the toilet.Remus had insisted that they clean their apartment - not because he was trying to impress Sirius or anything, that was s ridiculous idea - because it was a disaster, with Peter's clothes somehow finding themselves on the living room floor and Remus constantly leaving his artwork around the kitchen. Peter didn't see what the big deal was, but with Remus breathing down his neck for the past twenty-four hours, he decided that it would be best to just go along with Remus.
"I'm sorry!" Peter's voice yelled back, "just throw them in my room!"
Remus sighed, grabbing an armful of old shirts and shorts and chucking them into Peter's room and shouting the door behind him. He wiped his forehead and looked around the apartment. It was good enough - it had been vacuumed and mopped, he'd taken time to actually water the pots on the balcony, and he finally got around to digging behind the TV set and find the missing copy of School of Rock that had slid behind it three months ago when Peter bumped into it in the middle of the night.
Peter walked into the living room, his hair a mess and his sweater sleeves rolled up. "Okay, everything's clean. Can I go now?"
"Why are you in such a hurry?"
"Sirius gets here in under an hour and I'm leaving because I don't wanna be here when you two are fu - "
"Oh, gross!" Remus shoved Peter's shoulder. "Get out, you douche."
"You just don't wanna admit that you fancy someone, that's all I'm saying. Love ya!" Peter waves at Remus as he disappeared out the door. Remus rolled his eyes at Peter.
Yes, Sirius was attractive, but that didn't mean he liked him. No way. This was for an art project that his grade depended on and that was that. Nothing more.
Remus was interrupted from his thoughts when he phone started buzzing his pocket. He pulled it out, answering the phone without even looking at the caller i.d.
"Remus! Is Sirius there yet?"
"Ugh, no, Lily. You already called me
this morning!" Remus complained, walking into his room and sitting down on his bed."I know, but I need to be updated! Make sure to be nice - and offer him something to drink!"
"Jesus, Lily, you and Peter are making this way too big of a deal."
"Oh shut up, you know he's cute and hey, while he's at your apartment..."
"No! Oh my gosh, listen I have to set up my art stuff so I'll call you later, bye!" he hung up before Lily could reply to him. He put his phone back into his pocket and stood up. Right now all he needed to focus on was having the right equipment out, not whether or not he needed to impress some boy coming over.

"You're going to wear that?" James asked disapprovingly, as if his fashion choices were straight from Vogue magazines.
"It's cold and this is comfortable, fuck off Mr. I Wore The Same Pair Of Jeans Every Day This Week," Sirius said, rummaging around his bed for his phone.
"Okay, okay, but you do realize that it has pandas on it, right?"
