Remus was staring at his painting as he waited for Sirius to knock on his door. He's been doing that for over thirty minutes now. He wasn't sure where this "date" would be taking place, but honestly Sirius could walk him outside, tell him he looked nice, and call it a night and Remus would be okay with that. He bolted upright when he heard a noise come from the apartment door.Remus took a deep breath, patting down his atrocious sweater before he opened the door to a smiling Sirius, who was also trying to tame his appearance. "H-hey! Shit, sorry, I didn't mean to stutter - I just -"
"You're fine," Sirius reassured, motioning for Remus to come outside with him. Remus blushed, walking out the doorway and next to Sirius. "So... you excited?"
"I have absolutely zero idea what we're supposed to be doing."
"Right," Sirius laughed. "Well, I think you'll be excited. But first, we need to eat."
"Where?" Remus asked, following Sirius as he started to walk towards the street sidewalk.
"I have a friend, his name is Frank, who owns this little sandwich shop. It's really cute. I figured we can get some and then, uh..."
"Then what?" Remus pushed, wanting Sirius to finish his sentence.
"Uh, there's a park nearby and we could..."
"Are you suggesting a picnic? Is Sirius Black embarrassed about having a picnic in the park?" Remus started to really laugh at this, seeing Sirius blush now. Sirius rolled his eyes, pulling his leather jacket closer to himself as the wind picked up. "That's cute."
"I know I am."

"I say this in complete respect and love, but why the hell would you get tuna on a sandwich?" Remus questioned, grimacing as Sirius took a bite out of his sandwich. Sirius glared at Remus, followed by another eye roll.
"Not your sandwich."
"And I'm completely fine with that," Remus laughed. "I hope you sleep well at night knowing you ate tuna."
"What? You worried my breath will stink?" Sirius teased, looking at Remus. "Planning on getting that close?" God I hope so.
