Turning Events

Chapter 8

The group listens closely

Tina, "one, we can not stay here it is not safe."

Sueann, "Are you crazy?! We won make it out there!"

Tina, "we won't make it in here, we have a better chance out there"

Linda, "Are you sure Tina?"

Tina, "Yes, don't you trust me?"

Linda, "i trust you, but how do you plan on getting us all out of here in that noisey car?"

Tina, "I said i had an idea"

Travis,"So, what's your idea?"

Tina, "I need a valenteer."

Travis, "It depends on the task."

Nick, "I'll valenteer no matter what it is, I am behind you 100 persent sis."

Tina, "Okay good. I'm going to drive that car to distract them, Nick I need you to got to the car place acrossed the street, find keys, and get one of the big trucks. Make it something that holds atleast four of us and carry supplies so we don't have to take more then two viecels."

Nick, "Sounds good to me"

Travis leans over to wisper to Nick

Nick, "I'm a father, she is our big sister, I have to believe what's being done is for the good of our group. If we all don't then we will lose hope and i can't i need to protect my daughter."

Nick looks back to Tina.

Nick," when are we leaving?"

Tina, "after we pack everything up."

They all start packing up everything. Tina, Nick, and Travis start packing up all the weapons. Linda and Lisa pack up the clothes, food, and blankets. Sueann holds Kristy and packs up all the baby stuff.

Lisa, "why does Sueann get all the easy stuff?"

Tina, "because her age and she is disabled. Plus she is out of my hair and being useful."

Sueann, "I can be useful in other ways."

Tina, " Yeah, but stick to what i say for now and I will let you know if i find anything else for you to do."

Sueann, "Okay"

Tina, "Everything packed up?"

Everyone nods yes.

Tina, "Are you ready Nick?

Nick, "Yes, I'm ready."

Tina, "We all gotta move fast. You guys make sure you move fast when Nick pulls up with the truck."

Everyone, "Okay"

Tina, "Ready girls?"

The girls nod yes and open the door. Tina runs out and jumps in the car and drives off. Linda watches out the window.

Linda, "I think it's working"

The zombies start following Tina out of view.

Linda, "Now Nick"

Nick runs across the street to the car sales lot. Nick breaks the window and searches the desk for keys but nothing. nick finds a lock box and breaks it open finding the keys.

Nick, "Great now i gotta find the right truck."

Nick clicks the lock button trying to find the truck that goes with the keys. He finds the truck and jumps in it driving it up the curb right to the front door of the house. The girls back at the house open the doors and nick runs in.
