Turning Events

Chapter 10

It got dark fast that night.

Tina, "Okay we need to switch drivers"

Tina gives Nick a rest and Nick lays in the back seat of the truck with Kristy. Sueann gives Travis a break and Travis lays in the back seat of the car with Lisa. Linda falls asleep with her head on Tina's shoulder. Linda is jerked awake as the truck hits a herd of zombies causing a bone to puncture the gas tank.

Tina, "Shit shit shit!"

Linda, "What are we going to do?!"

Travis calls Tina on the phone.

Tina, "Go around  we will find you becareful."

They hang up as Travis drives around them. The car starts beeping causing zombies to rush the car making the car flip on it's side and explode. The explosion kills Travis, Lisa, and Sueann.

Linda, "NO!!!!"

Nick, "Fuck! We are all going to die."

Tina, "We have to run for it!"

Nick, "Where to?!"

Tina, "I don't know....Until we find a house or something"

They all grab their bats and hand guns.

Tina, "Linda, you keep a hold of Kristy."

Nick, "Please keep my daughter safe"

Tina, "Lets go!"

They open the dors of the cars and start runing. Tina and Nick hitting zombies and shooting them.

Tina Yells, "There is a building up a head!...I see a light!"

Nick, "Okay!"

Suddenly Nick gets taken down by three zombies.

Tina, "NOO!!...Fuck, keep running Linda don't slow down!"

Linda, "I won't!!"

They keep running until zombies start to surround Linda and Kristy. Tina runs by Linda catching the zombies attention.

Tina, "You're going to have to run for it!!"

Tina makes room for Linda to run. zombies take Tina down. Tina yells her last words.

Tina, "Linda, I love you!!"

Linda and Kristy make it inside a house but it is over ran by zombies. Linda holds Kristy close to her chest as she runs up the stairs followed closely by zombies. One of the zombies grab Lindas leg and bite her.

Linda, "NO!!!"
