Turning Events

Chapter 2

Each girl calls their family and as those who have not turned slowly start to show up. First to come to the house was Linda's mom Sueann and ex boyfriend James. The next to arrice was Tina's brother Nick and his daughter Kisthin who is 1 year old. Grace did not have any family she was an only child. Finally the last people to arrive was Tina's other brother Travis and his wife Lisa.

Tina' Is this really who is all left, Where is mom and dad?"

Travis" Mom and dad were following behind us but there were so many zombies they tried running them over"

Tina and her brothers start crying.

Tina" Nick where is Patty?

Nick" We were packing, getting stuff for Kristy and they grabbed her. Patty had enough time to hand me Kristy, then she was gone they ate her"

The room got really silent.

Grace" so what are we going to do?"

Nick" Survive!"

Tina "that is all any of us can do but lets not panic"

Everyone looks around and then at each other.

Tina" we do not have much but what we have food and weapons wise will help and we will figure it out little by little"

James" I am sorry but who put you in charge?"

Tina" excuse me but this is my house, my supplys and didnt have to take you in"

James Interrupts rudely "that does not mean shit"

Nick" show some respect James if it was me I would of never invited you here."

Sueann" He is a good boy, no matter what anyone says and will be a good asset to whatever it is we are going to do here."

Travis"okay but the turth of the matter still we mains we need a leader"

Grace" I got it we vote and write names down and majority rules and no Nick your vote does not count as 2 because of kristy"

Everyone agreed and started writing names down and puting them in a hat.

Tina "okay so now we will count the votes out loud".

As the counting began it was coming out to how Tina thought it would.

Tina" okay 4 votes left is there anyone who did not vote for themselves"

Tina pulled another name "Tina" Then she pulled another name "James" everyone looked surprised because that made 2 for James. Tina drew another name "Tina" Everyone looking arouund again

"so far a tie" everyone looking so nervous "Tina, I won the most votes"

James sarcastically "so what do we do now boss?"

Tina" I need a moment to think"

Tina went to the kitchen and Linda followed

Linda" Whats wrong baby?"

Tina" I do not think i can do this I am scared I amgoing to let everyone down.

Linda " I know you can do this baby, I would not of voted for you if i did not thinnkn you could"

Tina "Do you really think I can do this"

Linda" yes with all my heart"

Sueann over hearing from the living room "Well I don't think you can you are going to get us all killed!"

Linda" Mother!

Sueann" It is true she wont be able to protect us or keep us safe like James can!"

Linda" There is so much you do not know about your wonderful James"

Tina interrups" I can do this and I would give my life to keep your daugther safe"

Sueann walks away.

Grace" so what are we going to do?"

Tina " I want to wait a til tomorrow then make a run for more supplys and I will take volunteers but if i get none I will pick people to come with"

First 2 people to volunteer were Tinas brothers.

Tina" us 3 will go and if there are any more volunteers let me know we leave early tomorrow"

Tina and her brother go over their plans.

James"Hey Linda worried about tomorrow?"

Linda" yes very"

James" well we can get back together tomorrow because you know she is not making it back"

Linda" Yes she will. She is tough, smart, and brave. She will come back to me.

James" She is not smart, she is not coming back and we will be together again like we use to be if not worst"

Linda slaps James and goes to another room.

Tina" What is going on?"

No one answered

Sueann" James what happend?"

James" I think being cooped up in here made her a little crazy"

Tina goes to Linda "Whats wrong baby?"

Linda wraps her arms around Tina "please don't go please"

Tina" tell me what happend"

Linda" He said you were not going to come back to me tomorrow and that me and him are going to get back together, I can not do that again."

Tina holds Linda "I am not going to let it happen again, I saved you from him you will never go back" Sueann comes over to Tina and Linda

Sueann"I know it is hard being cooped up in here but that is no reason to take it out on innocent people"

Linda" Innocent my ass! You don't know what he did to me"

Tina" shh She will never believe you any ways"

Everyone goes back to the group.

Tina" everyone get some rest we got a lot to do tomorrow, I'll keep watch.

Every one laid down and some people were able to sleep others were still a little scared to sleep. Tina Kept watch and lida never left her side unless to bring her a cup of coffee.
