lauren-
I awoke to Camila sleeping in my arms like usual, but our alarms didn't go off considering it's Saturday morning.
I stretched as much as I could considering the brown eyed brunette was laying on top of me.
"Camz.. wake up, babe." I shook her shoulder lightly.
"hmm," Camila hummed at me, latching her arms around my stomach.
"c'mon babe," I smile.
"I'm awake." she rasps.
I grin, content with myself. Camila finally got up to get dressed while I did my hair and makeup. I went light with makeup and hair all I had to do was brush through it. done.
Camila and I switched. I picked out a black sweater that was cropped slightly, high waisted blue jeans, and black combat boots. I threw a pair of socks on and waited of Camila to be done.
"how do I look?" Camila walks out.
she was dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans, a black tank top, and a light blue cardigan.
"you look great," I smile walking towards her, wrapping my arms around her waist.
"so do you, is it still raining outside?" she asks me.
before I could answer thunder boomed loudly, making her jump slightly.
"yes." I laugh.
I hear our door open and something waddle against our hardwood flooring. I turn around to see Maia climbing into Camila's side of our bed.
"Maia?" I ask walking towards the bed, and climbing in.
"momma it's so loud!" Maia complains climbing into my lap.
another clap of thunder is heard, making Maia and Camila jump. "princesa, there's nothing to be scared of. the clouds are just laughing." I tell Maia.
"really?" Maia looks up at me.
I nod, Camila had crawled up beside me. "the clouds are having a party, and laughing really hard. so hard that they're crying." I tickle Maia slightly.
"then why is there lightning?" Maia asks.
"those are the party streamers and confetti at the party," Camila tells her.
"oh," Maia nods.
after sitting around, we all climb out of bed, going to Maia's room to dress her.
"go make breakfast, camz. I can get Maia ready." I smile.
Camila pecks my lips and exits Maia's room, camz could always cook better than I did.
I dress Maia in a pair of light blue jeans and a hoodie with the 1975 written across the front. Maia picks out two random socks, and slides them on her feet.
"hair up or down?" I ask my daughter.
"up, please." Maia says while brushing her dolls hair.
I put her semi-long wavy hair in a ponytail and then twist it into a bun. I secure the bun and then I take bobby pins and make sure it won't fall out. Maia has her ears pierced, so she had little dainty bow earrings in.
"bow or no bow?" I ask Maia.
"no bow," she replies.
I turn her to face me, pulling little hairs out to frame her face.
"and you're done!" I peck her cheek.
she runs down the hallway and hops down the stairs to, I'm guessing, the kitchen. I take my time and walk down the stairs to meet my girlfriend and daughter. "momma! hurry up!" I hear Maia complain.
