Ashton's pov
Calum and I have been dating for a year, behind closed doors. Of course the boys and our families know, but we're trying to keep it from fans until we are both comfortable with coming out. Today, i have a surprise for him. I'm going to take his to a secluded part of the beach and we're going to have a picnic. Luke helped me plan it out, which I'm grateful for.
I walked into Calum's room, where he was laying in bed, on his phone. I jumped on the bed and kissed his cheek. Calum quickly turned his hand, so I kissed his lips. I smiled when i felt him kissing back. I pulled away, making him pout and me giggle.
"Get dressed, I'm taking you somewhere. "I said and peaked his nose.
"Where are we going? "He asked, turning off his phone.
"That's for me to know and for you to find out "i said.
I got up and walked downstairs into the lounge room. Luke and Michael were watching a movie, I'm pretty sure Mikey fell asleep. Luke smiled at me and gave me a thumbs up. I smiled back.
Calum walked downstairs, wearing a 'Nirvana' shirt and some black skinny jeans. And let me tell you, damn did he look good. I stood up and walked over to him, wrapping a arm around his waist.
"We're going out, we'll see you later "i said to Luke. Even though he already known.
"Ok, bye "Luke said smiling.
We said bye and walked out to the car. I got in the driver seat, while Calum got in the passenger seat. I put on my seat belt, Calum doing the same, and turned on the car. I put the radio on and backed out of the driveway, starting to drive to the beach.
"Can you tell me where we're going now? "Cal asked.
"It's a secret "i said, holding his hand.

We arrived at the beach and got out. I got the picnic basket and blanket out of the car, that i asked Luke to put in while I went upstairs. Calum looked at me confused, as i took his hand and lead him though a couple of tree to the beach. No one was around, which was good.
"Surprise "i said looking at Calum. He looked around smiling.
"It's beautiful Ash "he said.
I lead him over to a nice spot on the beach and laid down the blanket. We sat down and i put the picnic basket over to the side. Calum crawled over and sat on my lap, kissing me.
"Thank you for taking me here "he whispered.

Calum and I were now cuddling, watching the sunset. We finished eating our food and now we're just chilling. Calum head was on my chest and he was playing with my fingers. I noticed that Ash tied was starting to come in. We were pretty close to the water, so if we don't move we're going to get wet.
"Baby, so should go, it's getting dark and the tied is coming in "i said looking at Calum.
"Ok, I'm starting to fall asleep anyway "he said, sitting up.
I got up, as did Calum and we packed up our stuff. As, we walked back up to the car, i heard a ruffling in the brushes. I didn't think anything of it.
I put our stuff in the boot and got in the car. Calum was already in there, nearly falling asleep. I chuckled and started the car.

I woke up to my phone alarm going off. I grouned and opened my eyes. I turned off my alarm, sitting up. The light was coming through my window. I got up and stretched, before walking downstairs. I don't really care about putting a shirt on, as long as I have shorts on, which i do.
I walked downstairs into the kitchen. Michael was up, making breaky. He didn't look very happy to be up.
"Morning "he said.
"Morning. Are the others up yet? "I asked.
"I think Calum's still asleep and Luke's gone out to get milk "Michael answered. I nodded.
I made myself some toast with vegemite and poured some juice. As i ate, heard the front door open and close. Luke walked into the room, just as Calum did, still half asleep.
Hey"i said, getting up and putting my dishes in the sink.
I kissed Calum on the cheek and said good morning. I looked over at Luke, he had a unreadable expression on his face. I looked at him confused and poked his cheek.
"You ok, Luke? "I asked.
"You guys need to look at something "he breathed.
Luke put down his shopping bag and pulled out a magazine. He gave it to me and Calum. I gasped at the picture on the front page.
It was a picture of me and Calum cuddling at the beach yesterday. I flipped to the page that the article was on. I read though it. It practically said that we were spotted at the beach and that we are dating. I mean, their not wrong but they have no idea.
Calum put down the magazine and leaned over the bench.
"Fuck "he said, hitting his fist on the bench.
"Hey, it's ok baby "i said, rubbing his arm.
"No it's not. I'm not ready to come out get, Ash "Calum said, looking up at me. He had tears in his eyes.
"It's ok, I'll send out a tweet. You don't have to go on twitter until the everything dies down. It's going to be alright "i said, hugging him.
Calum nodded and hid his face in my neck.
"Ok "he whispered. I kissed his head let him go.
I walked upstairs and got my phone, before going back downstairs into the lounge room. All the boys were sitting on the couch. I sat next to Calum and went on twitter. All the fans were freaking out about the pictures. I tweeted out.
