Part 28 Love At First Sight
~Austin's POV~
Adrianna looks adorable when she sleeps. I had my arms around her and she had her head on my chest. We are still sharing my headphones even though she is asleep. I hope she says yes to the surprise. If she doesnt then she might have to go back to new York. I don't want that and I'm sure she doesn't either.
Pilot: we have reached the destination! Welcome to Miami!
That woke Adrianna up. She blinked and then yawned.
Me: good morning sunshine
Adrianna: haha good morning. Did you sleep at all?
Me: nope, too much on my mind.
Adrianna: what kind of stuff(;
Me: oh nothing
Adrianna: haha ok, can we go to the beach today? I need to tan. I look like a ghost.
Me: yeah but a pretty ghost...sure we can go to the beach.
We then got off the plane and walked to get her bags. Again we carried all her luggage but I didn't mind. Dave opened the door for us. He sat up front we sat in the back.
Adrianna: does your mom still hate me?
Me: she doesn't hate you!
Adrianna: then how come we are getting our own house?
Me: how do you know that?
Adrianna: remember? I was listening to you on the phone
Me: oh yeah. Because she...uh...um
Adrianna: hates me
I just stayed quiet. I mean I guess that is why. I wish my mom would just accept that she's in my life now. But oh well.
~Adrianna's POV~
Now I'm kinda nervous to go see his mom. Ugh. I don't understand. It's not like I was the only one guilty for that. That's seriously BS. We are really close to Austin's house, eek. Alright now we are in the driveway. Dave and Austin got out but I didn't move.
Austin: are you coming?
Me: oh um yeah.
I feel stupid now. I got out and we went into his house. I saw his mom, I better be polite.
Me: hi michele!
Mama: mrs. Mahone.
Me: oh I'm sorry.
Austin gave her a look. Then he took my hand and led me upstairs.
Austin: I'm sorry for my mom.
Me: no its ok. I shouldnt have called her Michele.
Austin: no you were fine. She's just being a bitch. This is why me&you;are going to get a house for ourselves.
Me: don't you think just an apartment for us would be fine?
Austin: well let's go house hunting.
Me: right now?
Austin: yep, right now.
Me: ok!
We went downstairs and I offered to drive since I left my car here and I haven't driven it in forever. Ahh I missed driving.
Me: alright here's the first house. It's right on the beach.
Austin: I like it but let's keep looking.
Me: ok the next one is just an apartment.
Austin: ok well I want us to have a house house.
Me: ok well then we don't need to look at that one.
We continued to look at the other houses and finally decided to just go with the first one that's on the beach. We bought it. Well actually Austin bought it.
It came already furnished so that was good. When we got home me and Austin were going to go pack his suitcases when mama asked if she could talk to me alone. I said yes so Austin went up in his room.
Me: what's up?
Mama: ok I don't think you're good for my son. As you know. I don't like that he is hanging around with you. Let alone sharing a house.
Me: I'm gonna stop you right there. I don't care what you think. Austin loves me and I love Austin. End of story.
Mama: well I wanted to know if I would pay you to leave him alone.
Me: are you serious right now?
I stood up and went to Austins room. Was she serious? Pay me to leave Austin. How low would she go to get rid of me?
