DEAN
We finished up the hunt and walked back to Baby and Bobby's truck. My father was impressed with how much we learned in the years that he abandoned us. We didn't brag about our skills or anything but we have gotten better. Bobby just shook his head and laughed.
We drove home after getting some dinner for all of us (including Alex) and pulled up to the motel. I walked up to the door and heard talking from within. Alex's voice and the high pitched squeals of our daughter. I smiled thinking about her unique eyes.
I opened the door and found Alex sitting her back to us with Scarlett over her shoulder. Light patting could be heard and her one green eye was probably the most interesting thing to look at in the beige room. Scarlett smiled and squealed when she saw me before burping loudly. I laughed and walked up kissing her soft head.
"Little Princess you are. You take after your father." Alex says before laughing and giving me a quick kiss.
"Atta girl." I say and open my arms to take Scarlett so she can eat. "I'll put her down for a nap and Sam, Bobby, and my dad are already eating in Sam's room." She nods and thanks me before walking out and shutting the door behind her.
ALEX
It was so kind of Dean to put Scarlett down. I normally had such a hard time with it but with him it was easier. Maybe because Scarlett can smell the milk on me or whatever I don't know. I opened the door to Sam's room and stepped inside where casual chatter and eating was going on.
"Hey guys!" I say and grab a bag with my name on it. "How was the hunt?"
John swallowed his food and started talking about all the amazing things they saw and learned. He then pulled out a small wooden box that seemed way older than he or I. Maybe even Bobby. "I found it while looking around for the thing. I looked inside and thought it might have been something that you would like Alex." He tells me and I thank him because I'm not usually given things like this. I open the box and gasp at the beautiful sterling silver bracelet inside. I pick it up and slide it onto my wrist. Perfect fit.
"Wow, thank you John! Really!" I get up and walk around hugging him. He says it was nothing and hugs me back. I continue to give hugs to everyone and notices that Sam seemed to linger a bit longer than he intended to. He blushed and let go once he realized it became awkward.
"Sorry Alex. Just missed you. That's all." Sam says and bobby gives him a look and then shakes his head.
"You gotta let it out sometime Sam." He looks Sam dead in the eyes but he just nods.

It was later in the night and I was laying down holding Scarlett while she slept. I drifted off now and then but because i was sitting up I woke up before i fell over and crushed the small bundle of joy. I decided to lay her down and go to bed. Dean was long asleep but I had decided to stay up wince Scarlett was fussy.
I laid her down and walked to the bathroom. I heard the water running on the other side. I looked at the Mirror and I wondered who was awake. Bobby? John? Sam? I shook my head and did my business. I walked back to the room and I heard light knocking on the door. I walked over and opened it up.
"Sam?" I asked shocked to see the Winchester brother standing outside this late at night. "Sam what's wrong you're sweating a storm!" I whisper-yell and bring him inside and sit him down on the couch.
"Alex I need to talk to you. Badly." He says.
"What's up Sam?" I ask and hold his hand.
"I keep seeing you. In a motel months from now. Walking in to check on six month old baby Scarlett and seeing someone standing over her playpen. The next thing I know you're on the roof in flames." He shakes holding my hand and I can tell he genuinely cares.
"Sam..." I start. "I've had that dream once before. When I woke up after I had just gotten back and never told you why. It was because I was being burned alive." He hugged me and I hugged him back. I understood why he had been doing all those weird things. The worried glances, the lingering hugs, the extra nice things. He was scared he was going to lose me.
I couldn't believe that we had the same worries now... But we knew we were stronger together. We made a promise to always tell the other when those worries came up or another bad dream happened.
"I promise you Sam... I won't leave so easily." I smirked and patted his hand. "Promise on my mother's grave."
