Chapter 31 - Clear Air

This is just going to be a short chapter of fluff. Nothing serious is happening.

"Come on, Adam! It'll be fun!" begged Zatanna.
"Okaaaaaay! Fine.' said Adam
"Awesome. It's been such a long time since we hung out and I don't think we'll be able to any other time soon. I'll go get my jacket."
Adam huffed. He was actually avoiding Zatanna because she was dating Robin now. They were the only ones at the cave because Artemis and Astrid were showing Rose around Happy Harbour, M'gann and Superboy were out together and KF and Aqualad were not there.
"Let's go." Said Zatanna as she pulled him to the Zeta tubes.
Immediately they zetaed out of the cave they saw Robin waiting in civilian clothes with dark sunglasses. Adam felt sick in the stomach.
"You brought him?" Asked Adam.
"I thought it'll be fun for the three of us." Said Zatanna.
"It will just be awkward 'cus I'll be like a third wheel."
"Don't worry. It will be fine."
"So where you taking us, Rob?"
"You ever heard Death Destroyer 3: Ultimate Carnage?"
Adam grinned madly."Yes!"
"Well, we're not watching that. We'll be watching Captain America: Civil War."
Adam sighed. "What the hell is a 'Captain America'?" He asked.
"They don't have Avengers in your dimension?" Asked Zatanna.
"Nope. But we have this cool hero I used to like called The Great Brit-ant. She. Was. Awesome."
"If the coolest super hero movie in your dimension was the 'Great Brit-ant', then I pity you Adam."
They went to their movie and Zatanna and Robin sat together and held hands while Adam sat beside them.

At the end of the movie
"Well, that wasn't awkward at all." Said Adam.
"Come on, Adam. It was an awesome movie." Said Zatanna.
"First, you obviously don't know what awesome is until you watch "The Great Brit-ant: Awakening." and the sequel: "The Great Brit-ant: Attack of the bees.". And second, I couldn't enjoy the movie with you guys sucking face every two minutes."
Zatanna and Robin sighed.
"Let's just go for lunch." Said Robin.
They sat down ordered their food and again, Zatanna and Robin were making Adam feel awkward.
"Guys I don't think I can't stand this any longer. I'm just a third wheel." Said Adam.
"OK." said Robin as he raised his drink. "To Adam, the best third wheel a guy and his girlfriend could ever have."
Adam smiled as they clinked their drinks.
