"Wait, say that again."
"When Zack and I accidentally kissed, I think I felt something..."
"As in-?"
"Like, I think I like Zack now."
Freddy was silent for a moment.
"Why am I even telling you this?" I asked. "I should just call Summer."
"No, don't call her yet. I'm trying to be a better friend, talk to me."
"Fine,"
"So, Zack huh?"
"If you're gonna act like that, I'm gonna hang up and call Summer." I scolded.
"Fine, fine sorry."
"Look, I need a favor."
"Sure."
"Ask Zack if he felt anything. But don't jump right into it. Slowly ease into the conversation about the kiss and then ask if he felt anything. Act like you would if I hadn't told you to do this."
"I'll try."
"Thank you so much!"
"In return though,"
"Ugh, what?"
"Get Summer to tutor me."
"Summer? Why Summer?"
"Because otherwise my mom is gonna get me someone else. But Summer is booked for months on tutoring."
Wow, why didn't she tell me she tutored. I mean, I guess I never asked since I always averaged about a B plus, which was good for being in the gifted class. Guess I never thought about needing a tutor so I never thought to bring anything like that up.
"But why does it have to be Summer? Can you get an educated junior in high school to help you."
"No, plus Summer is one of my closest friends so it will be easy to work with her."
I thought over the situation. Maybe this was a good opportunity to get them together, alone, after school.
"Ok, I'll do it."
"Ask her right after we get off the phone."
"Fine, but you gotta meet up with Zack and ask him. I want it done I person."
"Deal."
"Wait one second. Why can't you just ask Summer to tutor you yourself?"
"Because I don't thinks she'll say yes."
Oh, I think she will. I think she would clear her whole schedule just to tutor you.
"Fine, I'll do it. I'll text you her response."
"Great! Thanks!"
"You too!"
I smiled and hung up the phone. Now to call Summer.
The phone rang and rang and didn't go through. Then I rendered she had a debate team meet. I knew she wouldn't pick up until that was I ever so I looked up so Miranda Sings on YouTube. I love her. After watching five videos, laughing my head off each time, I decided to try and call Summer again. She finally picked up.
"Hey!" She said.
"Hey, what're you doing right now?"
"I'm in the car on my way home."
"Can you meet in the park in like ten minutes?"
"Yeah. What for?"
"Trust me, it's important. Almost too important to tell you at school."
"Yeah, ok I'll be there. Plus dance doesn't start till seven and its five-fifteen."
"And?"
"I don't have any homework so I have plenty of time to meet with you. I just have to be home by six-thirty."
"That's more than enough time."
"Sounds good. See you in a few."
I hung up the phone and ran down the stairs and strapped on my knee-pads and helmet.
"Mom, I'm going to the park to meet some friends." I called out.
"How long will you be gone?"
"An hour at most."
"Is all your homework done?"
"I didn't have any today."
"Ok, have fun... Wait! Do you have your phone."
I opened the front door and put my foot out.
"Yes mom." I responded."Ok, now you can go have fun."
I let out a sigh of relief and went all the way out of the front door. I closed the big door behind me and walked down the front porch. One I was at the driveway, I got on my skateboard and started my way towards the park.
===============================
A/NSorry for the little bit of Seddy. I promise the main focus is Zomika and it will stay that way. Seddy just had a few side things but like season one of the show, it's mostly just one sided feelings on Summer's part. But since it is in the show I decided to include it in my book. But I promise that this book won't be Zomika getting together because Seddy got together. This book is mainly Zomika. So please, don't freak out.
Keep Rockin'
