"Is there anyone in here?"

Somebody broke the silent they had. They all shift their gaze from each other to the girl with a bag and a few books in her arm.

The slightly open door give the dark gloomy room a slight line of light. The light glow the red blood that pooling around them. Their wound face clear as the door give them more light when she open it.

A light yellow blouse knee cut, with a long sleeve and a turtle neck, with a blue typical jeans and a suede shoes, she gave a warm presence to the darkness.

She just stand there. Her eyes wide. Her mouth slightly open at the scene in front of her.

'Run idiot,' Cheng whisper. He has no power to shout. His hand press his stomach to stop the bleeding.

'Sh*t, the knife sure hit the right spot,' Cheng curse in his heart.

Zack and Adam unconscious at the corner of the small warehouse. Michael must have realize their missing so he can put his hope on him to send help.

Let's hope.

"What?"

"Umm... I thought I hear someone shouting so I just call the police just now," she talk so slow it seems like it just a whisper. Her eyes look so scared and her hand trembles.

"Damn! Let's go!" The gang with the steel weapon send the bleeding man, Cheng, on the floor a death glare, spit at the floor in front of him and give him a parting hateful smirk before take their leave.

They don't forget to send the girl a hateful glare make the girl flinch a little on her feet, hugging tightly her books.

They're gone.

Cheng look up at the girl.

The girl unexpectedly look calm in almost a flash of light. With the scene of blood in front of her, Cheng can't see her flinch. She slowly shift her eyes on the back of the idiot gang who just have left scared and just stare at him.

Their eyes meet.

She just open the freaking door shaking like a kitten just a moment ago but now, she seem... something.

Anything but scared.

Nonchalant. Doesn't matter. Calm.

She's freaking calm.

Cheng give her a glare, a get-the-hell-out-of-here glare but she didn't budge. She continue silently look at him like nothing happen.

She didn't even step forward to help him nor backward to retreat.

It calm him in a way.

That there's someone in this world, seeing him as fragile as this, won't leave him alone nor push him to answer all their f*cking question. That there's someone out there who silently wait, waiting HIM, to slowly come to them if he want to.

The sound of engine car break their silent. Hearing an Audi r8 engine roaming, he knows that the stupid friend of his just nervously took any key he can take on his blank mind and take one of his baby girl.

"That freak going to die," he mumble under his breath.

The girl shift, wanting to go.

"Stay alive," the girl speak. Not with a broken voice like a moment ago but a firm solid voice, as thought a demand, an order he need to keep.

As she said that, she left.

Cheng chuckle.

At the end, she choose to leave him.

Everyone choose the same choice.

But her voice echoing in his mind.

Firm and solid.

Trust him within whatever he will do afterward, he must obey the order.

"Stay alive," he whisper as he see his man running toward him and the two at the corner of the warehouse.

Now he can sleep.

They have finally safe so he can finally sleep.
