"Jay!"

Jay turn her body at the voice and she's been hugged suddenly. Without even have to try, she just know this big puppy is Cheng. The book she hug, make a distance to them, which make Cheng grab it and put it at the floor and continue to hug her.

Jay rolled her eyes. Talking to him just going to exhaust her. So she just accept his nonsense once in awhile.

"Do you have to hug me in the middle of a hallway?"

Nod.

"In front of these people?"

Nod.

"Seriously?"

Nod.

Silent.

Slowly, Jay lift her hand and hug him. She tap his back, consoling him for whatever matter he feel like breaking down for.

"What is it?"

Cheng shook his head.

"Jay,"

"Hmm,"

"Will you leave me?"

Silent.

"I won't stay,"

Silent.

"Am I not worth it?"

Silent.

She break the hug, but Cheng stubbornly hold on her waist. She look at him in the eyes.

"You worth it,"

"Then why?"

Jay smile.

Silent.

"I saw the ring on the drawer,"

This time, Cheng drop his hand from her waist and look at her defeatedly. He shook his head.

"I don't love her,"

Jay just smile. Understand.

"Jay, I don't love her," he plead her.

She shook her head. Still wearing the same smile.

"You love her, and she love you. You just need time," Jay assured him. He shook his head. He grab her hand, and look at her with the same pleading eyes.

"Jay...,"

She return his grip.

"You will never leave her. She don't deserve that,"

With that, she break their holding hand and walk to her next class, not turning back.

Knowing, she had hurt him.

They have two days for a break from their volleyball training.

He is sitting alone at the bench of the university park, he stare at his phone for a very long time now. After a million of cursing and thinking, he decide to give her a call. What Jay had told him had triggered something deep inside him.

Yes, he don't love her, but she is enough to gain his respect. Knowing that he is an asshole, she try to communicate with him. Well, they have to make it right in a way or another, they're married after all.

Cheng sigh.

F*ck.

What did he ever do to deserve this?
