Part Ten

Cheng settle down laying his head on Jay laps. The two of them sit on the couch while the others try to make the living room less dangerous.

Ad and Zack are knock down. They sleep as soon as they get an empty room on the second floor. The bruise on their body was treated by Lidy and Hana. They seem to shout more when being treated than when they're fighting.

Michael, as he is common with the havoc surrounding made by Cheng after he go berserk, being the leader to others in cleaning the living room.

Cheng doesn't seems to bother by the surrounding. He snuggle to Jay's stomach as his hand embrace her waist. Jay caned her temple at the arm couch to support her hand as her hand tapping Cheng's shoulder.

To make him sleep.

Jay's breath being heard as a lullaby to him. Make him sleepy and hard for him to stay awake. But he refuse to give in as he want to stay being spoiled by Jay.

"Jay, it's two in the morning. Where do you wanna sleep tonight?" Hana shout from the kitchen, make Jay raise her head from looking down to Cheng.

Michael and Lidy stop tidying to listen Jay's respond. They shift their focus to Jay for a moment, raising their eyebrows, as asking the same question.

Michael and Lidy have a worn out expression. Hana, who just come out from the kitchen, wear the same tired face. Their pale scared face don't even leave yet it been added with the tiredness.

A tournament, a party and  a fight for a day is killing them.

And she knows, despite of that, they will respect her and treat her as she want.

If she want to sleepover at Hana's house, it is.

"Hana, it's two in the morning. Where do you wanna sleep tonight?" Jay shout back, playfully.

Resulted a laugh from all of them.

"Erm, here?" Hana say guiltily, knowing she's being selfish.

"Here it is,"

Her answer make them smile happily. Showing their relieve that they don't have to add up their work at the time. Jay chuckle at their respond and turn to her previous position.

Cheng smile at the answer. He snuggle even tighter to her, demanding her to spoil him more.

He want more.

She tap Cheng's shoulder, continue to make him sleep. It's been so long she been like this, but she refuse to just go away from him.

Slowly, he drift to the dreamland.

Having the best dream he ever have.

Their Sunday start with Jay and the girl cooking in the kitchen. It's more like Jay is cooking and the girls are preparing the ingredients. They make Jay shook her head and scream once in a while at their blank mind, throwing everything to the wok and the pot.

When Jay shush them from the kitchen, they stubbornly want to help resulted a headache to her.

Cheng wake up at the sound of Jay laughing and screaming at the girl. For the first time in many years, he wake up with a smile. His body is covered with a blanket and a pillow under his head.

He stay still to enjoy the moment, as long as possible.

When they have finish, Hana and Lidy go to the second floor to wake Ad and Zack while Jay walk to the living room to wake Michael and Cheng. Micheal wake up with a big groan and grumbling something about five minutes. Jay shift to Cheng, wake him up like she did to Michael.
