"I'm going out with some of the guys, come join us." Justin wrapped his arms around my waist, as he nudged his head in my neck.
"I can't," I sighed, covering his hands with my own. "I've got so much to do." I rested my head against his chest.
"Come on, babygirl. I want you there." He left a wet trail of kisses down my neck. "We don't have to stay for long." He attempted to bargain with me.
"I really can't, Justin." I cringed as I lied to him. "You go without me."
In all honesty, I loved hanging out with his friends, seeing Justin happy was all I wanted and he clearly enjoyed spending time with them, but it was just too much.
"What is it? I know you're not busy." He spun me around so I was facing him. "Do you not like my friends?" He frowned.
"No! I love your friends. I can see they make you happy and I love seeing you smile and laugh when you're with them." I spoke of them genuinely.
He smiled at my comment, but the frown took over once more when he realised something was still getting in the way. "Then what is it?" He played with my hands as he watched my face intently.
I fought with myself as to whether I should tell him or not. "It's just, most of the time when we hang out with your friends, some of the girls you've..been with are there and they're not the most pleasant people I've been around." I stared at his chest, not really wanting to encounter his reaction.
"What are you talking about?" He licked his lips, his eyes searching my face. "I didn't think they bothered you."
"Whenever they talk to me or even acknowledge my existence, it's just to tell me about their amazing relationships and hookups with you." I muttered, shaking my head. "I don't know."
"I didn't know that." He mumbled. "They honestly do that?" He grabbed a safe hold of my hand.
"Mhm." I nodded. "But it's okay; I'll just ignore them or pass hanging out with you guys." I waved it off and shrugged.
"No, you shouldn't have to. They shouldn't be treating you like that, they should be keeping their mouths shut." He frowned deeply, making me frown also.
"See? Now you're frowning, I did that." I pouted, poking his face. "Smile for me."
"You're the cutest, I love you, princess." He smiled and pecked my lips, making me grin widely. "But I'm going to sort this out, okay? Don't hesitate to ever tell me anything like this." He sent me a warning but sincere look.
"Okay," I smiled up at him, hugging his waist tightly.
