- Louis’ POV –
Tuesday Night:

…I miss Liam.
“Shut up.” Zayn interjected.
“I didn’t-“
“You were thinking it.”
“Thinking what?”
“Liam. Liam. Liamliamliamliamliamliamliamliamliamlia-“
“Okay, I get it.”
“You really don’t.”
“Shut up.”
Zayn scoffed and fell down onto his back on my floor and groaned at the ceiling.
“…what the hell about this guy’s got you so damn whipped anyway?” Zayn mumbled. “You haven’t even done it yet, so it’s not the sex. And that confuses me because I don’t know what else keeps you around.”
“Wow, thanks for that.”
“You’re a slut Lou don’t pretend you’re not.”
“Shut up.”
“You didn’t answer my question.”
“Sorry I didn’t hear it beneath the insult.”
“The question, was how on Earth did he manage to wrap you around his little finger this quickly anyway?” Zayn pouted. “It took you a month just to realise you liked Justin back, and now you’re already in love with this guy? You haven’t even been dating for two weeks yet.”
Someone’s obviously jealous.
“Do you want a serious answer to that or for me to call Justin up and tell him to come get you and take you somewhere nice?” I mused. Zayn froze up.
“Wha- Why would I want that idiot to-“
“I’m not stupid, mate.” I breathed. Zayn actually blushed. He never blushes.
“…serious answer, then.” Zayn pouted. I bit my lip.
“…he didn’t give up on me.” I mumbled. Zayn gave me a confused look, but I just curled up into a ball on my bed and hugged my legs tight. “He doesn’t have to put in effort to make me feel safe, it’s just a natural thing with him.”
Zayn frowned. I sighed.
Shit, I really hope he doesn’t tease Liam with this shit later on or I’ll never live it down.
“I… I used to have nightmares about Justin, you know?” I murmured. “And when Liam found out he just made me his absolute number one priority.”
He’d tried to kiss me so many times that night but he’d stopped himself for my sake…
Zayn chuckled.
“Ah, so he fixed what I couldn’t, huh?” Zayn mused. Now I frowned.
“Huh?” I mumbled.
“I knew about the nightmares, Lou. I slept with you at least once a week after all.” Zayn chuckled.
