Chapter 3

Calum's P. O. V
After Ellie sung and we were all in awe about it. We pulled up in the driveway. And I got out first and grabbed her bag. It was light. Like too light. She must only have 3 outfits. Plus the one she was wearing. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard her say wow. As we speak walked to the front door, Ellie said

"this is a pretty big house"

"yeah" we all said in unison Micheal unlocked the front door and I set her bag by the couch. She started to walk and look at the same time. She walked and tripped over her bag and took down Luke with her. I felt bad. She wouldn't stop apologizing even after luke said he was okay and not mad. She look like she was scared.

"we can talk in the dinning room" I said.

"okay? " Ashton said more like a question. As we walked in the kitchen everyone looked confused. Micheal gave me the what's wrong look. I just kept walking. I sat down at the table and so did everyone else, but Ellie.

"sit down love." Ashton said

"where?" she asked in a confused tone. She also looked quite worried.

"any where there is a seat" Luke said. At first she looked hesitant. But my face lit up as she took a seat next to me. Ashton kinda looked sad. Ellie put her head down. I lifted it up with my index finger.

"okay everyone I know you don't know why we sat at this table. Nothing is wrong I just wanted to clarify some things with Ellie..." I was interrupted before I could finish by the sound of a sniffle from Ellie. *did I say something did I hurt her in some way* I said in my head

"what wrong Ellie" I said.

"nothing" she said a bit scared.

"you can tell us" luke said.

"I said it was nothing" she said with a little anger.

"it not nothing if you started to cry. " Micheal said.

"I SAID IT WAS NOTHING" she yelled. We all looked at her and she put her face in her hands and ran somewhere. We chased after her. I heard quiet sobs. She was crouched in a closet. I reached my hand out and she shook her head. The boys found us and we tried to get her out. She just protested and stayed. Ashton motioned us to leave. I was confused. I didn't want to leave I wanted to stay. I don't think any of the other boys wanted to leave either. We stood there behind Aston until he looked back and gave us the angry eye.

"alright we can take a hint" Michael said. We all walked down stairs slowly. I don't know why we had to do this. I think we thought that maybe we would still be able to hear what he was saying, but sadly we didn't so we continued to walk.

Micheal's P. O. V
I wander what they are talking about. I still wander what Calum was going to say in the kitchen that mad Ellie so upset. Maybe we could find out what he was going to say if Ashton can get her out of the closet ( no not coming out that she is gay she is not gay) I guess I have two things I want to know great. It was about two minutes later when we say Ashton and Ellie come down. Wow. What did Ashton say?  He better not of threatened her. Ellie kinda looked fine now. I guess whatever he said made her a little happy. That's good I don't like it when she is upset. She went over to Calum and whispers something. He smiles and whispers something to her.

"I am utterly confused right now" I said. Everyone was laughing at me. I seriously did not understand. I rolled my eyes. Ellie walked over to Luke and smiled at him. I don't think she knew that we saw her smile.

"hey. No fair. Why don't I get a smile." everyone but Luke said. She blushed. Oh I get it she likes Luke. She blushed even more and everyone was looking at me again and i realized I said that out loud.

"I'm joking gosh" I said covering my tracks. Then Calum started to talk

"what I was going to say earlier was Ellie instead of not knowing who you dad is, i wanted to tell you that ashton signed the papers so your dad is Ashton."

"okay...but Ashton told me to get me out of the closet."

"thanks for stealing my thunder ash" Calum said . Everyone just burst out laughing. Even Ellie giggled.

"I'm boreddddddddd" Luke whined.

"me tooooooooooo" Ellie said in the same voice. She started to talk more so that's a good sign.

"maybe we should go to the park." Ashton suggested.

"yeah" we said in unison.

*time skip*

We are at the park now. Ellie was on the swings with everyone and I sat on the bench with my phone. When I heard a scream come from Ellie. I looked around panicking because she just screamed. I say her hugging a girl who looked about her age. We walked over there to see what was going on

"why did you scream?" Ashton said.

"because I saw my old friend" Ellie replied.

"that's no reason to scream" Calum said in an angry type of voice. She didn't say anything. Just put her head down. She sniffled. Is she crying why is she crying. My thoughts were interrupted by this mystery girl putting her arm around Ellie.

"who are you" I asked.

"Carmen" she said. That's all she said. She sounded quite mad though maybe because Calum scared her or something. We have to be careful what we say.

I liked the name Carmen so I picked it. Sorry if this is short compared to my others just been a little busy. Thanks for reading ILY.
