3.Almost Electrecuded

After I told Ana we would meet at the cafe. Me and Mark walked to the office complex to see my dad and so Mark can see his mom. Me and Mark have been dating since freshman year and now it is senior year. I have also been friends with him since he first moved here in kindergarten.

'Hey Grace did you hear about the storm.' Mark asked very seriously.

'Yeah I heard about the office complex, people hanging themselves during a storm is weird. ' I said honestly frightened.

The sky was turning dark, me and Mark hurried to the office complex. When we turned around someone was about to get from under the tarp it was starting to rain the man got electrocuted. His friends grabbed him and dragged him under the tarp again. Mark grabbed my hand and dragged me into the office complex just as the rain almost reached us .

'Wow we almost got electrocuted Grace, what was that about.'said Mark who is looking around the office.

He grabbed my hand and lead me to my dads office and he headed to his mothers.

'Dad I almost got electrocuted by the rain. But thanks to Mark I didn't.' I said looking at him.

' Daughter are you all right did you get hurt.' He said looking at me and checking to make sure I was okay. I nodded my head yes and I didn't get hurt.

My Grace almost got electrocuted. I walked to my moms office thinking of what might of happened if I hadn't grabbed her and ran to the office. I explained everything to her. She got worried. Later on at night the rain stopped and we headed home. I said my goodbyes to Grace and her dad. We got into the car and headed to 12th street.

 I got out of the car and headed to my room and went to sleep. Still I couldn't wrap around of the events that happened today. We met a new girl named Anayah or Ana and then the electric rain what is happening. I turned the radio on and

' ladies and gentleman we have more news of these storms turns out that a car was found and in the trees a couple jumped off the tree and landed face first that lead to death instantly . The storm seems to be behind some of the power outages in some places.'said the news anchor.

Just as the news anchor said that our house electricity went out.

'Creepy' I whispered to myself.

I just couldn't believe it some storm is causing people to become suicidal. It is just not right. I grabbed a flashlight and looked out the window to see that almost the whole block was out. Weird because some of the houses had electricity.

 I went downstairs and me and my mom went to one of our neighbors house who has electricity. They let us in and let us use their guests room I slept on the couch mom got the bed.
