Chapter 6: long day

I sighed when I got home and threw myself onto my bed with Dave laughing. "First week and we already have tons of homework." I whined turning on my heating pad. "Yep that's high school for us right Luna." He said laughing. Everyone gave me the nickname Luna because well I'm a moon child and all my things involve Stars sun and the moon. I giggled and heard Niall and his girlfriend fighting again. "Is that all they do?" He asked annoyed. "Yes lately I think because I live here and I get more attention." I said looking away. I started to feel something for Dave but didn't say because we have a good friendship going. "Luna come on moon isn't out yet." He said smiling and his green eyes twinkling with the lighting. "Don't remind me I love it when it's dark so the moon lights things up." I said smiling while I heard them fighting and a door slam shut and Niall knocking on my door. "Oh God Dave get the door it's Niall!" I said worried and looked out the window and saw cece had packed her bags and got in the car with someone! "Amena.." Niall said choking back tears and sobs. She had cheated on him how could she Niall is so sweet and loving. "Come here you Irish snowflake." I said holding my arms open and let Niall cry into my arms. "Dave go get a wet wash rag and some ice cream please." I said. He nodded and I sighed. Before he left the room he gave me a sympathetic smile. "It's okay Ni it's okay." I said in hushing voice. His sobs calmed a bit. Just then Dave came back in with a wash it rag ice cream and half the amount of horror movies we had. "Niall is it okay if I stay here tonight with you and Amena?" Niall nodded. He knew Dave would pull anything. "Ni want me to order nandos?" Niall looked up at me and smiled. "There's my happy Niall smile I said hugging him." Me and Dave ordered what we wanted and when it came boy could you tell we liked to eat and watch movies. Since its Friday we can stay up late. When we finished eating I cleaned up while Niall and Dave made us one huge bed in a fort with every blanket and pillow in the house. I sighed and laid down while Dave and Niall watched smiley. "You guys stop eating all the popcorn before I can have some geez." I said rolling my eyes at the two doofus. I slowly fell asleep hoping Niall can find the right girl I can't stand seeing him so upset but me and Dave can cheer him up.
