Alan's POV

"Party at my place tonight Ashby, you better be there." Zack told me as we walked out of class. "It's gonna be sick."

"It's a Tuesday why are you having a party today?" I asked him.

"Because my parents are chill with it. Now are you gonna come over later or what?"

"Of course I'll be there," I said and smiled.

He slapped my ass, "I can't wait."

"Neither can I, we'll have so much fun too," I purred.

"See you later Ashby." He said and walked off to his friends. I sighed and headed to my locker.  I grabbed my things then left to go find Kellin. I l walked around for a bit before I found him talking to a bunch of his friends.

I kinda wish I could have friends besides just Kellin. I love the kid but it's kinda lame only have one person you can really talk to. He didn't realize just how lucky how he really had it.

"Hey Kells," I said walking up to him.

His friends all stopped talking and started telling him goodbyes before they all left.

"Hey Al," Kellin said turning to me, a small smile on his face.

"Sorry I made all your friends leave."

He shrugged, "It's okay, they were being mean anyway."

"Oh,what were they doing?"

Kellin shook his head, "Don't worry about it. What's up?"

"Just wanna get home."

"It's only third hour," He laughed. "We still have a while before school even ends."

"I know but I still don't want to be here."

"Well in a few hours we can go home."

"I could leave right now."

"But, you're not going to." He said giving me a pointed look.

"Yes I won't leave." I muttered.

Kellin smiled, "Good."

"I know. I'm such an angel."

"Oh yeah, you totally are," He said rolling his eyes.

"I am."

"Mhm sure. You never even came home last night."

"Yes I did! I was home by three."

"Liar," He sang rocking on his heels.

"I was!"

"If you say so."

I rolled my eyes, "Aren't your supposed to be in class?"

"I still have a few minutes before the bell rings." He said.

"But you don't want to be late, you best be going."

"I'll go in a second, it's okay if I'm a little late. Are you okay?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?"

Kellin shrugged, "Just making sure, you seem kinda off."

"I'm just fine."

He nodded but didn't look convinced, "Alright. Well I guess I'm going to get going then. I'll see you at lunch?"

"Mhm. See you then."

Kellin gave me a final smile before he skipped off to his class.  I made sure he left before I started walking and roaming the halls but I was an idiot and ended up running into the guidance counselor.
