Kellin's Pov

The drive back from Vic's parent's house was quiet, every time I tried to talk Vic just shut me down completely.

"Babe, we need to talk," I said quietly.

"Not right now."

"Come on Vic. Please?"

"Not right now." He said again more forcefully.

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want to talk about it right now so just shut up."

I sighed and looked out the car window. The car ride back to my apartment drug on slowly but finally we made it and I went to get out.

"I love you," I said softly.

"Sure you do."

My eyes teared up but I blinked them away, "Just call me when you're ready to talk."

"I don't know Kellin, last time I did that you wanted to put a restraining order on me."

"That was then Vic, it's different now."

"Mhm sure."

"Vic don't be like that," I pleaded.

"It's whatever. I think you should just go right now."

I sighed, "Alright, I'll see you later I guess."

"Bye."

I got out and slammed the door shut. He drove off as soon as I reached the apartment complex door and went inside. I slammed the door shut and looked around the apartment.

"Alan?" I yelled only to get no answer. "First I piss my best friend off, then my boyfriend. God I'm such a wonderful human being." I muttered and stomped to my room and fell onto my bed. I let out a scream into my pillow.  What the fuck is wrong with me? It's like I ruin everything that's going good for me.

I let out a sigh and got under my covers cuddling up and sitting in silence.

I don't know how long I laid there, but at one point I wound up falling asleep, only to wake up to the sound of the front door slamming shut.

I groaned and looked over at the clock on my nightstand, it was 3am.  Why the fuck is Alan just now coming home?  I got up and walked out of my room and followed more noises from him into the kitchen.

"Al?" I asked rubbing my eyes tiredly.

He jumped, "Fuck. What do you want?" He asked bitterly.

"What are yo- you know what? Never mind," I mumbled and turned away. "It's not my business anyway."

"You're right. It's not your business."

"Whatever."

He just rolled his eyes at me.

"By the way, rent is due tomorrow and I need your half."

He took out his wallet and handed me some cash. I counted it quickly.

"Where's the rest?"

"That's all of it."

"No it's not."

He groaned, "Fine, whatever. How much more do you need?"

"Well rent is eight hundred fifty. Meaning you pay half, which is four twenty five. You just gave me two fifty."

"I'll get the rest tomorrow or something."

"Whatever, just leave it on the table or something. I'd help you out but it's not really my business if you can afford your rent or not." I said and started walking back to my room.
