(Ke'yonna's point of view)
I woke up by the loud noise of my alarm clock. Me and my best friend Grace just moved to LA a few weeks ago with my mom and her parents, plus her grandma and her two little brothers. Me and Grace start high school today. I got up, brushed my teeth, took a quick shower and put on some dark blue skinny jeans, a black cardigan, a grey tank top underneath and some lip gloss and some mascara and my silver flats. I curled my hair. When i finished getting dressed, I took a picture of my outfit from head to toe and sent it to Grace. Grace and I are not like most best friends. We like to dress up as twins even though we have different skin tones and we like to act crazy. We've been best friends since grade 3. After I sent her the picture of me, she sent one of her wearing the same outfit.
Me and Grace's texts after the pictures:
me: LOL. So are you excited for school today!? First day of high school!!!
Grace: Yup! All we gotta do is make sure we stick together because you know I hate being alone when my bff is near me!!!!!
Me: Don't worry. I just hope we have all of the same classes!
Grace: I do too. I got to go eat breakfast.
Me: Okay bye, when you're done, come over to my house and we'll walk together.
Grace: sure thing. Bye.
While I was waiting for Grace, I decided to make myself pancakes. Since I was home alone. My mom is a nurse, so she works a lot. As I finished eating, the doorbell rang. It was my bestie Grace! We ran and tackled each other. (that's how we hug) We hugged for like 5 minutes. I ran upstairs to get my Adidas bag, my binder and my house keys and then Grace and I left. As we were walking, a black Ferrari drove slowly behind us. The car cam even closer to us. The car window rolled down. I couldn't see much because the sun was shining so bright. As the car stopped, I heard a familiar voice that I heard on YouTube this morning and I knew exactly who it was.
