Chapter 5: Shocking. Just schocking.

Ke'yonna's POV

When I saw Grace on the floor, my heart just dropped. I kept shaking her but she wouldn't wake. I couldn't help but think of negative thoughts. She was breathing but it seems like she was knocked out cold or something. I was screaming for help but I guess no one heard.

Jaden's POV

Me, Mateo, and Moises were at our lockers talking and we heard someone screaming for help. No one was in the hall, so we decided to go in the girls bathroom to see what's going on. All I see is Ke'yonna on the floor crying and Grace was just lying there. I grabbed Ke'yonna's hand and asked her what happened while Mateo carried Grace to the nurse. 

Ke'yonna: "I saw V-Veronica-a spray p-p-painting Grace's locker and I asked them where she w-was and they said the washroom s-so I  ran here and I just saw her on the floor. T-This is my entire fault. She told me to s-stick with her but she told me she has to f-f-fix her make up while I get our lunches."

Me: "No. it's not your fault. I know exactly whose it is." I gave her a hug. I was jumping inside when she hugged me back. She smells like vanilla. After the hug, I grabbed her hand and brought her to the nurse to see Grace. I left Ke'yonna to go find Veronica with Mateo and Moises.  When I found her, I dragged her by the arm and pulled her into an empty classroom.

Veronica: "OW! That hurts you know!"

Me: "Sorry. But what did you do to Grace?"

Veronica: "Nothing babe. How are you?"

Me: "Tell me the truth and why were you spray painting her locker and what did you write?"

Veronica: "I am! I was just redecorating the school. It just says stay away."

Me: "Who is she staying away from?"

Veronica: "You and Mateo." She said as she leaned in and tried to kiss me but I dodged it.

Me: "Okay. You are getting jealous for no reason and it's too much. I think we need to break up." I said as I stood up and left her by herself.
