Chapter 10: Right here? Right now?

GRACE'S POV

We all look fabulous. The boys said they will meet us on the red carpet. I wonder what the paparazzi are going to say when they see me, Ke'yonna and Madison. We got to the red carpet and there was no sign of Jaden, Mateo, Justin or Jai. Thank the Lord I didn't see  Moises. Ke'yonna, Madison and I were kind of nervous because we never been on a red carpet before and we were just standing there like trees. Selena helped us to feel more comfortable posing. It was time to go in a huge building. Since it was the VMA's, we had to rush to our seats. We were sitting beside Taylor Swift. She's so nice and funny.

Ke'yonna's pov

I finally found Jaden. He was sitting with Willow and his dad. I called Jaden, pretending that I couldn't see him. I don't get how he couldn't see us when he was sitting right behind Selena and Taylor. The phone was ringing until he picked up.

*Phone call:*

Me: "Hello? Jaden where are you?"

Jaden: "Ke, I'm sorry. I forgot my dad reserved our seats together."

Me: "It's fine. You could've told me earlier. So where is Justin, Mateo, Moises and Jai?"

Jaden: "Justin is in the studio. Something popped up. Jai went to go visit his brothers and friends, and Mateo had to film another episode of Kickin it and I haven't seen Moises in a few hours. Actually, I haven't seen him all day!"

Me: "Wow. I hope he's alright. Well lets talk later kay?"

Jaden: "Same. Bye."

*end of phone call*

I ran to the back of the stadium and called Moises. It was ringing for a while, then he picked up.

(phone call)

Me: "Moises. Where are you?" I said with a concerned look on my face while my hands were shaking.

Someone: "He.............. is...........................done. Goodbye." The voice sounded like a robot. But what do they mean by done? Like done what he's doing or what?

I ran back to my seat about to tell the girls about the phone call but I overheard Jaden's conversation with his dad and Willow.

(Jaden's conversation)

Will: "Son, who were you talking to?"

Jaden: "Um, my girlfriend."

Will: "I knew you had a girlfriend! You came home with the biggest smile. So what's she like?"

Willow: "She's awesome! She's one of my new besties!"

Will: "She seems like a nice girl!"

Jaden: "She's beautiful, nice, sometimes mean and bossy but in a good way. She's just perfect."

Will: "Then why don't you invite her for dinner tomorrow night?"

Jaden: "I'll ask her when I see her."

I couldn't take this. Jaden is so sweet but I'm really scared for Moises. I turned around and tapped Jaden on the knee.

Jaden: "Hey! What's wrong? You look kind of... nervous."

Me: "Hi. Remember when how I said I'll check up on Moises?"

Jaden: "Uh, Yeah??"

Me: "Well, um I called him and some robot answered and said he's done. I'm kind of scared and I don't know what to do."

Jaden: "Don't worry. We'll figure something out."

Me: "By the way, I'm Jaden's  girlfriend; Ke'yonna. Ke'yonna Stevens." I said introducing myself to Will.

Will: "So you're the girl who keeps my son smiling."

Me: "Yup. That's me!"

Will: "Anyways, would you like to join us for dinner tomorrow?

Me: "You guys are such a kind a family. I would love to but I hope this isn't too much but one of my best friends Grace got hurt a few days ago and I'm supposed to watch her. But she's okay now. So is it okay if she can come?"

Will: "Sure. We have lots of room."

Me: "Thanks so much. I guess I should tell the girls about Moises.

I told the girls about Moises and called all his family members to see if they know where he was. But there was no sign of him. The award show was about to start.

*the next day*

Today is the day me and Grace go back to school. The scary part is that today is Friday the 13th! I don't believe in Friday the 13th, but September is my favourite month. (because my birthday is September 19th) I hate anything bad that happens in the month of September. Grace's mom drove Grace to school but I decided to take the bus. While I was on the bus, there was a really cute boy with blonde hair in a little Mohawk hairstyle, with blue eyes and an ear piercing and when he got off the bus, he bumped into me and said something I would never want to hear in my whole life.

The little boy: "Excuse me ma'am."

I moved over looking so confused. I texted Grace and told her that I have to tell her something important. When I got to school, I ran to Grace and started yelling questions in her face.

Me: "Grace! Do I look older than my age somehow?!"

Grace: "No?" She said with a confused look on her face.

Me: "Okay. BRB." I ran down the hall and stood at Jaden's locker for 5 minutes. Until he showed up.

Jaden: "Hey babe!"

Me: "Hey boo! I was looking for you!"

Jaden: "Welp. You found me."

Me: "So do I look older than my age somehow?"

Jaden: "No. Why?"

Me: "Because I got ma'amed on the bus."

Jaden chuckled.

Jaden: "You're beautiful." He leaned in and kissed me. "So I'll see you later and I'll pick you up and Grace up for dinner later."
