He sat in the living room watching the News with his parents and sister. Clearly, he wasn't really interested as he wanted to watch the basketball game, but his dad won't let him, he felt terrible. He stood up and went to his room, as he got there, the damn news was still on; sadly, the Tv was connected to the living room's so he had to watch whatever was showing... Soon, he saw Dunni on the news, she was being interviewed by the press, he smiled and grew interested. "So, where do you see this court going in a few years" the pressman asked "Well, as a final year student, I'm not going to be here in that few years you are talking about, but I strongly believe that this court is going to move to greater heights" she said.... the news was changed. He smiled to himself, she seemed so confident, he admired that about her, he sighed as he looked out his window.
Jimi Williams, a seventeen year old who was kind of geek.... Although he had "the looks" but wasn't the social freak... He clearly wasn't a party lover like his other,Obolo.... He looked out the window, he smiled to himself without knowing why, he just developed that attitude. A soft knock sounded on the door, but he didn't hear, his mind was far away. "Bro?" His Twenty year old Sister Abeni said as she tapped him looking at him strangely. He turned sharply at her,he was scared "Akinjimi?" She asked looking still the same way, she knew something was going on "Hello big sis" he said "Jimz, what's the probs?" She asked "Nothing" he said as he turned away "I've lived with you for the past 17 years now, I know if something is wrong or is bothering you" she said as she rolled her eyes.
He had to tell her, he knew it, but he was shy... He hadn't told her stuff like this before... He felt awkward and pretty unusual... "Jimi" she called "Nothing,I'm fine" he said "Is it a giiiirrrrrllllll??!!" she said in a teasing tone "Oh, stop!" He said trying to conceal it "Well?" She asked, he let out a sigh "Yes, it is" he said "You wanna talk about it?" She said as she grinned "Yes, I really do, I feel stupid... I haven't felt this way before... I just can't explain" he said looking frustrated "Well, I can help, it's a crush right, well, you just have to curb it... " she said, just then, the news Recap was shown, Dunni was showed once more, he turned his face away, She looked at him "It's her right?" She smirked "Yes" he replied "Well that's good" she said happily "Yeah" he said looking at her weirdly "Just be strong bro, and pray too" she said she stood up "Goodnight " she said as she kissed his head. He just sat there starrring at the wall. She was just amazing and he was proud of her,he really didn't know what it was to do.... He stood up, went to his wall and started drawing, that was the only thing that could take her off his mind. Oh, if I forgot to tell y'all, Jimi is also an Artist and a basketball lover.... He can also play instruments... He just doesn't show it.

The next Friday came, she was really prepared... Amara had been sued!.... She really couldn't believe it. She couldn't believe someone would have the gutts to Sue "Drama Queen". She rushed to her chambers, some students we're already seated. She took her seat. The clerk, everyone was ready.... "Call the case" she said "The case for today- Miss Amara Chigozie, who was caught as the suspect responsible for the callous throw of Miss Dunni Adewale by the cheerleaders on the 21st of January 2016" the clerk sounded. They were sworn in and the main business started.
"Miss Amara Chigozie, it is alleged that on the 21st of January 2016,at about 2:30pm, you were caught whispering to the head of the cheerleaders to throw Miss Dunni Adewale up in the air, Are you guilty or not?" She said. Amara looked at her with disgust "Not guilty my lord" she responded "Tell this court what happened on the 21st of January 2016 in the hallway" she sounded. "On the 21st of January 2016,I was on the assembly ground, I was just chatting with one of my friends when I saw Miss Dunni being thrown to my outmost shock" she said looking as innocent as ever "Chatting with your friend you say?" "Yes my lord" she replied calmly "And who is that friend if I may ask?" Amara sighed, what was her own now, she rolled her eyes "Deliah" she said. Dunni corked an eyebrow. The cheerleaders were dumbfounded, all hope was lost, because even Dunni didn't know who instigated the throw... "Do we have a witness?" The Judge asked "As a matter of fact my Lord, we do" said barrister James who was appearing for the cheerleaders, he grinned... "Send in the witness" she said. The door was opened, and to everyone's surprise, it was Delilah !... Amara was lost for words, how could she!...
She was sworn in. "My lord, I am Barrister James appearing for the Cheerleaders , please permit me to cross examine Miss Deliah Aholo" he said "Proceed" she said "So, Miss Deliah, where were you on the 21st of January 2016 by 2:30pm?" He asked "I was on the assembly ground" she replied "Can you tell this Honorable Court what happened on that day?" He asked "Well, it was the day Miss Dunni was called out on the assembly for recognition" she said "Yes we all know that, I mean what happened after that?" He asked "Ehn na, we went to class noni" she said, he rolled his eyes... "Were you told something or did you hear anything?" He asked, he wished she would stop making his job hard. "Yes, I was told to tell the cheerleaders to throw Dunni, I mean Miss Dunni up" she said sadly "You!,you mean you were the one who delivered the message to the cheerleaders?" He said as he opened his eyes widely "Objection my Lord!" Barrister Akin, Amara's attorney sounded "Objection overruled!" She replied "Proceed" she said to the cheerleaders Attorney "Thank you my lord" he bowed "so, you were the one who delivered the message?" "Yes I was, after that, I felt really bad about myself, she could have gotten hurt because of me, so I went to the cheerleaders who were punished because of my wicked actions, I begged and I told them all that happened. They were just doing their job, they we're happy, but Amara tried to turn it against them for it to be like they were the one who instigated it... When I heard she was sued, I told them I would appear as a witness and also confess before this honorable court, I'm truly sorry" she said as she broke down in tears, there were murmurs from the jury "So, there you have it my lord" Barrister James said and bowed. Barrister Akin came up to question the already sworn in Cheerleader "So, what really transpired between you and Miss Amara on the 21st of January 2016?" He asked "I, being the head of the cheerleaders was told to throw Miss Dunni up in the air" she responded "And the action was carried out?" He asked "Yes,what do you expect?" She asked him "Aha!, so that means that you carried it out with all pleasure, I'm sure you were not briefed and... " "Objection my Lord!" Barrister James sounded "Objection Sustained" she said, he seemed to be making more sense "My lord, we already have all we need, the testimony of the witness and all, he is just drawing us back to what we've already treated!" He said looking at him. "So, how do you plead" she said looking at Amara "Not guilty" she said... Dunni paused for a moment, she looked at the jury, everywhere was tense...she could see Obolo, he wasn't comfortable "Due to my observations and hearing of both sides, you, Amara Chigozie and Deliah Aholo have been considered guilty and are to serve a two week manual labor of cleaning the toilets, mowing and sweeping " she gavelled. "As the court pleases" the Lawyers chorused "The court will rise" she said as she stood up to leave "Court!" The clerk sounded...

Everyone seemed happy with the Judgement, they all were overjoyed, "the bully had been bullied" they all said.... "Deliah, you freak!" Amara cursed "What now?, I know I did the right thing, I deserve even more than this punishment, all because of you..., thank you very much!" She said "After this, you no longer in the group!" Amara stated "I never wanted to be, who would want to be in a place where you can't be free or do what you like?, we always have to do what YOU want... I'm done Amara, I ain't coming back!" She said as she left. That was the first time someone had talked back at her, she felt bad as she broke down...
Dunni was still busy talking to others, she was so happy "I must say, you are a really good lawyer" she said to James "Thank you my Lord" he bowed, "please,we are not in the chambers so keep it real" she said. They all bursted out laughing...
