Part 24 - Scared!

Nandini connected their lips. The soft, warm ones against the cold and rough. Their lips moulded like two pieces to puzzles joined together. Like two lost puppies found their way back home.

THEY found their way back home!

Manik took a minute to realize what exactly happened but till then Nandini had hovered over him. She cupped both his cheeks incidentally and strengthened their lip lock, sucking over his with much greater passion. The sudden pleasure took over Manik too. He encircled his arms around her, enveloping her petite back in his long, sexy hands. Both pulled each other even more closer, deepening the kiss as if moulding into one. They put in all of their morning energy in that one smooch. It was a pure kiss, a literal lip lock where both just didn't want to let go the other.

It reached another eternity till Manik and Nandini had sucked each other's lips, and tongue innumerable times. Nandini let go off Manik's lips until she couldn't hold any longer her urge to breathe. But still none dared to open their eyelids, and rested their foreheads against each other.
Dark fears of the heart!

"Manik, I'm scared!"
Nandini breathed out her words lowly, hugging him closer.

"main tumse pyaar karti thi! Bohot! Tumhe kitni baar bolne ki koshish bhi ki bas... meri awaaz tum tak nhi pahunchi. Par....pyaar se zyaada mujhe tumhari dosti khone ka dukh tha. The friendship that I craved all my life. And..... And now, maybe you've gained my friendship but I don't know if I can put that trust again. If I can love you again."
She said the latter looking into his eyes deeply. Her eyes shone with a glazy layer of water while Manik's were no less, almost on the verge to bucket down.

"Nandini, am really sorry. For each and everything. I am ready to apologize all my life but I also know that my sorrys won't amend this. Please give me one chance. To prove myself. To prove my love. I've Always Loved You! Please lets do this. Give me one chance, please!"
Manik said with utmost sincerity and a lone tear escaped his eye.

"it'll take some time." she whispered, barely audible.

"I'll wait an eternity!" 😇😇😀😀

Nandini had formed a small smile. She parted her lips a little to say but then preferred her actions over. She slowly wiped his tear with her thumb pad and simultaneously pecked his lips.

"let's keep it to ourselves, right now. Let's not hurry into telling our friends about all of this!"
Nandini proposed the idea and Manik nodded in approval.

She gave her enormous smile and he reciprocated back.

"good morning lazy heads!!! Oops...I am sorry..... Good afternoon!"
Started off amused, Nandini ended her loud call in a dull, boring, mocking manner.

It was past 12 by the time Manik and Nandini came down to the hall, fresh and dressed up but the others were yet lazing around in their night dresses.

As a result, all of them had to endure a good long scolding session, precisely sarcastic, for their lazy habits. The 'Nandini special' lecture was also given out, especially to moralize these idiots a bit. Only God knows, if that really happened.

But not so later, everyone got endulged in a friendly gossip and the hour gave way to a nice and delicious brunch fiest.

It was early evening already when everyone decided to head back to their respective homes. All couples left in their own cars. Nandini, who was obliged to accompany Manik the previous day, for obvious reasons, was left with no other option but to be escorted by her 'almost' boyfriend.
