Her meek voice reached Manik, who was busy putting off that sticky stuff off his beautiful face and thick locks.
He looked at her with ferocious eyes and soon the look was replaced by horror!
"what's that! What is all this on your hands! Yeh itni saari chewing gum haath par kyun chipka rakhi hai??"
He asked taking her sticky hands into his.
"yeh..yeh chewing gum nhi hai! Vo.. Tumhare aane se pehle main kitchen mein ATTA GOOND (preparing dough) rhi thi!"
Manik had horror strike through every muscle in his face. He could not decipher the aftermath of this mess created over his head (literal) whereas Nandini stared apologetically!
"ab main kya karti? Door kholte hi tum shuru ho gye! How would I know that you would kiss me that crazy! Pata hota toh main haath dhoke aati na."
She explained herself to him and Manik exhaled a sigh. One that Nandini could not make anything of. He went back to stand before the mirror and with a small annoyed pout started removing the flour from his head. Nandini only observed. After a moment he turned back to her.
"if you.. If you knew that your hands were dirty then why did you even touch me! You shouldn't have!"
"oh hello! It ain't my fault! I can't keep my hands to myself."
😕"what?"😕
"I mean I can! Obviously I can! But why would I want to?"
"Now don't you dare repeat those stupid song lyrics before me!"
With a sheepish look on her jaw, she continued.
"come on yaar! All those beauties in the world who have hot specimens like you for their boyfriends and who get smooched crazily... Why would they ever want to keep their hands to themselves!! No one baby! And neither am I an exception!"
She narrated dreamily!
