Nandini walked down the small pavement before she reached to open the passenger door of the car. Manik was already seated onto the driver's seat.
"hey!! Good morning!"
And the history repeats!
Manik sat there completely numb as Nandini spoke to him but his gaze was fixed on her elegant morning figure.

"Manik!"
"Manik!" Abruptly, she scowled at him and Manik was brought out of his dreamland.
As soon as he realized that he had zoned out, again, he started showing signs of nervousness. He nervously looked around, fiddling his fingers on the stearing wheel, door, window buttons, stereo, AC.... simply eveywhere.
"you were again lost, weren't you?" Nandini spoke with a prominent smirk and then leaned down to his ears..... "in ME!!??" her husky breath came out which made Manik all the more embarrassed.
"ummm....No! Not at all!"
His difficult efforts they were.
"sure na?!" 😏😏
"hmm...haaan!"
"achhaaaa!"
Nandini tried playing with him a little more. She knew the answer already, for obvious reasons, but witnessing the bold, arrogant yet charming monster become a cute, naive puppy-like, was a SIGHT!
"ohhkay..maybe yes! I was."
Manik atlast confessed as he himself ruffled his hair and presented a sheepish smile and Nandini broke into laughter.
"ohh Manik! You're so cute!! Oh goddie! Hahahhh! You could have confessed earlier too na! I wasn't going to eat you up. Hahaha"
Nandini was lost in her gigglings but Manik sure did come out of his nervousness. He grabbed her arms and pulled her closer.
"you weren't going to eat me up but you surely do wanna kiss me! Right?"
"haan?!" She spoke between her giggles, not able to percieve his words.
In the moments that passed, Nandini could see his signature smirk set over Manik's jaw and simultaneously blush crept over her cheeks, as she deciphered the means.
"Manik...what are you saying?" she pushed him away.
"arre...don't you remember the rule?! A good morning kiss?!"
