So, The Trip Begins

Tim really didn't think that the roller coaster was that broken. Well maybe a little, but not enough for him to be called over to look at it. He also didn't understand why the operator who was in charge of this ride didn't know how to fix this simple problem...THE MANUAL WAS RIGHT THERE! But the operators were lazy teenagers with a bigger power of authority over him, so really he didn't have a choice.

The only reason he had taken the job as a repairman in a crappy theme park was because his student loans were over piling and it was the first thing he saw when he realized such problem existed. Quite literally in fact. He was sitting on the hood of his rental when a poster of the theme park flew right into his face. He thought "Why not" and applied a form for a job. Now he's a low level handyman who has to be at the beck and call whenever someone doesn't want to do their job.

As he went towards the car that wasn't working, he reread the 'InfoSheet' for the tenth time today. Being the repair man meant he wasn't allowed to bring entertainment and the only reading material he could read was the information ('InfoSheet')sheet for the park. The writing was boring and quick to get to the point it was trying to get across, but he really didn't have much choice.

Once he got to the offending piece of metal, he began his work. To get better access to the underworks of the car he got into the seat. As he lifted the first layer of the headboard a pungent smell hit him, making him turn away in disgust.

-"Get it together, this decides whether you'll have cup noodles or real food today!" Tim encouraged himself as he tried to look at the mess in front of him. Stuck in the wheel works of the front car was a mangled mess of some poor creature that got involuntarily sucked in. He put on some gloves and started to carefully reach into the cogs and bolts to take away the offending corpse of...is that a mouse? A bird? A rat? He didn't know and really did not care.

The poor creature had no chance against this roller coaster, so luckily for Tim all of the bones were already crushed by the machine and it was easy for Tim to take it out. Getting a nearby bucket that he prepared, he dropped the offending body and covered it with a lid. Moving the bucket as far away from him so that the smell wouldn't be as strong he got a rag and a bottle of solution and started cleaning.

Considering how the ground was being constantly heated by the summer sun, the work was tedious and boring. The rag kept drying out very quickly and the water bottle was slowly running out, and by the time Tim was finished with cleaning out the remaining viscera he had gone to refill the bottle at least five times. Checking his watch, he realized that the theme park had already been closed for minimum 30 minutes.

Quickly, he started to collect all of the items he used and started leaving, when he realized that he had for gotten the 'InfoSheet' on the car seat along with his gloves. Now, those items weren't important and could be easily replaced, but the operator on the morning shift who had to test run the coaster would notice them and rat him out. And he really didn't need another 'talk' with the boss. So he put down the bucket and his work bag onto the nearest available surface and went to climb into the car seat to retrieve the items.

What he didn't know was that he had put the bucket on top of the button that activated the roller coaster, and considering how there were no fancy activation keys in this park because those costed too much, Tim had unknowingly doomed himself to a free ride on the recently fixed roller coaster. As he got in, Tim heard click and slide of the automatic door. When he started to turn around, the coaster car had begun to quickly rise upwards towards the peak of the ride, making him to carefully try to buckle in. Once he had put on at least three different seat belts, he dared to look at what was going on outside of the car he was in.
