Sangs Prodigy

THE BACKSTORY

Emily fidgeted in her seat as the 9 boys around her wait patiently.Sean breaks it by putting a hand over her tiny one.She looks up at them worry clear on her face.Kota looks at her and says,"Listen sweetie,There is nothing you could do  on this earth to make us hate or disown you."Emily mumbles,"I'm not so sure"Kota sighs.North was about to speak up,when he was interrupted by Victor,"Princess?"Emily looks up at Victor who is still crouched infront of her and whispers,"I'm no where close to a princess."Victor frowns and decided to approach that topic later he glances at his brothers and they nod at once agreeing with him.Then he pipes up and says,"The sooner you tell us the sooner you get to see Prince."Emily Huff's and says fine.
FLASHBACK
11 year old Emily was setting the table for her new 'family',when she accidentally slipped on some spilt water and dropped all the plates and they shattered all over the ground.
Mrs.Sorenson came storming in the room took one glance before narrowing on the small shaking girl in the middle of all the glass.She stormed over to the young girl and grabbed her forearm roughly and slammed her body on the ground.Emily cried out in pain as glass went into her legs and arms.Mrs Sorenson sneered,"You useless girl!What the hell you aren't good for nothing.You can't even set a table.Now-clean-this-up"Mrs.Sorenson kicked the girl in the ribs between every word.Then stormed out of the room.Emily listened as her footsteps faded and a door slammed.She cleaned up the mess and was glad Mr.Sorenson wasn't home.She shivered at the thought.She crept up the stairs and into her closet sized room.She made a quick decision and decided to run to the nearest park to just get away.Do she jumped out her window and took off down the darkened street.She didn't care that she was bleeding or that her ribs felt like she was being stabbed over and over again  in that moment because she felt free.She slowed to a walk when she heard talking .She grew curious,but you might day haven't you heard the saying curiosity killed the cat....but everyone forgets the end and satisfaction brought it back.So she followed the voices and saw 3 people about 15-16 years old sitting on the dome shaped jungle gym.There were 2 boys,the older looking one had reddish brown hair with green eyes(Later known as Tyler) and the younger boy  had black hair with brown eyes(Alex)
Then there was a girl with long black hair and hazel eyes.(Jessica)But that's not what caught her attention they all had bruises.She gasped and 3 heads snap in her direction.S he took off running as fast as she could she heard feet pounding behind her,she glanced back at the younger boy,but when she turned back around she ran into a hard chest she fell on her but and looked up at the older boy.Fear in her eyes his eyes softened he reached down and picked her up bridal style.and carried her back to the jungle gym and sat her down beside his girlfriend Jessica.He looked her over and realized she ws bleeding so quickly the younger boy ran and retrieved the first aid kit and brought it to the older boy.See the 3 teens live around the neighborhood and all come from non pleasant homes for example,Alex's mom is a drug addict and gets very abusive and Tyler has a abusive step dad sober or not.Jessica is in a foster home who doesn't care if she's fed or has clothes or nothing.All they care about is themselves and parties.He glanced at the young girl and could tell she is just like them he tells her about their families while he's patching her up and she smiles and says,"Well....we  can make our own family?and have our own house than we all be happy."They smile and nod and the smile that breaks out across her face is life saving.Its so bright it lights a candle of hope in all their chests.She suddenly has a really determined look on her face and says,"I'll save you all,I promise"Alex than speaks up,"Even if you could why would you?I mean you just met us."Shem smiles and says really seriously,"We're family and family saves each other and takes car of them."They smile and nod..they have met at the jungle gym everynight since then.
One year later...(Emilys 12)
A very happy Emily runs to meet her family at their jungle gym she runs and jumps into a 17 year old Tyler's arms and them hugs Jess and Alex.Tyler asks her what got her so happy she squeals and says she finally kept her promise.they look at her confused.She huffs and says,"I may or may not of stalked your family members and took pictures than proceeded to blackmail them until they agreed to give up custody she pulls out copies of the custody release form.They gape at their youngest family member and Tyler asks her how she blackmailed them.She smiles sheepishly,"I took pictures of them drunk and throwing parties at late hours with alcohol and drugs present and threatened to send them to the police and FBI if they didn't sign over custody."Jessica gaped at her before saying,"How did you get them to take you seriously?"Emily grinned at her and put an innocent look on her face and said,"I did not hack into the FBI database and get all the info I needed then I also definitely did not buy a fake FBI badge off the  internet"Tyler looks her in the eye and says,"Can you get caught?"Emily grins and says,"I don't know what you mean."they laugh.Tyler and Jessica frown and say now where are we gonna live?"Alex grins and says,"I don't think we will fit under the jungle gym anymore much less fit a fridge under there"Emily bursts out laughing before saying what about me and Alex's tree house?"They began the long walk through the small clearing to the treehouse.Tyler looks at it and smiles and Jessica looks at it and sighs
Tyler looks at her and says "what's wrong Jessica?"Jessica sends him a small smile before saying,"It need work I dont think we will be able to do it."Tyler grins and throws her over his shoulder and tells her to look at it from a new perspective and Emily and Alex laughter echoes around their new home.(The picture above is what it looks like after they fix it up) Emily says bye and walks home smiling but not before bring promised that one day they would save her like she saved them.
