     It had been week since the wyvern accident. The herbs had helped Starcharm's back scab, but they hadn't healed completely. Featherfriend had just come by to check on her when she found Starcharm tearing apart her nest and deconstructing her cave. "I can't stay here." Starcharm said, not bothering to turn around. "It'll just reming me of him..." she was referring to Empty.
     "I'm coming with you." Featherbrained cawed.
     "No, you're not." Starcharm replied.
     "I'll follow you."
     "I can stop you."
     "Try me."
     Starcharm gave up. "Fine." She grumbled. There was no point in arguing. She picked up a deer she killed a while ago and took off into the sky. Featherfriend was a few wingbeats behind her. "Just try to keep up!" She called behind her.

                                                                   *    *    *

     They flew for miles, but Starcharm didn't stop. Soon the suns set and the moons rose. They flew until midnight, or, at least when Featherfriend asked to stop. "Um, hey Starcharm? Could we stop?" She called to the dragon. Starcharm was secretly relieved, but she didn't tell Featherfriend that. They landed in a pretty, flower filled meadow, a herd of unicorns grazing nearby. They settled down to sleep.
     About six ours later Starcharm was woken by Featherfriend. "What's wrong?" She asked. "I don't know, the unicorns just bolted for no reason." Featherfriend answered. After a few moments they concluded nothing bad was going to happen. They laid back down ate the deer Starcharm had brought. They were just about to doze off when a stampede of unicorns rushed past. They were being chased back into the meadow.
Starcharm looked up to see what they were running from. Not many things can spook a unicorn. On top of a hill were creatures unlike anything either of the friends had seen before: humans.
