|MAKI'S POV||

I did kind of like Rin. I'll admit that. But, it never felt right to me. I don't even know how to explain it.

'Maki chan lets go on a date!'
'A-A date?'
'Yea! It'll be fun, huh!?'
'I don't know. Maybe.' I said with a small smile.

I can't help my feelings. I like who I like I guess. I sort of knew that Nico liked me though. Once, something dropped out of Nico's bag. It was rude of me to read it, but I was just curious of what it has said.

The note said 'Maki chan' with a lot of hearts. I didn't wanna believe that she actually liked me because that's nothing. Maybe it means she likes being good friends! It's just hearts. But sometimes I could just tell she liked me. And I liked her too. But I was always too scared to tell her how I felt.

'Rin chan, I liked it better when we were friends.. No one knew about 'us'. And I hope no one did. I didn't wanna break Rin chans heart. Especially after the whole Hanayo thing.. Rin is the best. She's really nice, she's adorable, and a really good friend. I just think she could find someone better. Someone that really loves her. I love her, but not in that way.

I hated myself for it too. I just couldn't reject her. And I can't 'break up' with her. That's terrible of me. I didn't know what to do at the time. I'm such a terrible person.. Lying to her..

'Nico chan.'
'Wha- m-maki?'
'Come to my house after school. I want you to sleep over. That okay?'
'Uh-uh-uh-uh- sure! O-of course!'
'I'll see you then.'

I'll tell Nico then. But, I don't know how. After school, I started to walk to my house. I was really anxious for her to get here already. I was being really impatient. Then I herd a knock on the door. I opened it to see Nico.

'Hey maki..'
'Nico! Come in..'
'Uh okay. So why'd you ask me to come over? Not that I didn't want to though.. I love hanging out with you.'
'Well, we haven't been speeding time together recently. I feel like I haven't seen you in forever!'
'Yea, I guess.'
'I'll take your stuff to my room.'
'Uh o-okay..'

||NICO'S POV||

IM FREAKING OUT!!! IM AT MAKI'S HOUSE! SHE ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO COME OVER!!! OH MY GOSH! I can't believe it! I'm at her house, she asked me to come over, she's being really nice, what does this mean!?
