I woke up panting.
'Nico? Are you okay?'
'M-maki!? What happened last night!'
'What do you mean?'
'What did we do?!'
'Well, we watched a movie, then ate some food, and played some games, And went to sleep, why?'
'Did we do anything before we fell asleep??'
'No?'
'R-really!'
'Why? What's wrong?'
'It was really a dream?.. I can't believe it..'
'What happened? Did you have a nightmare or something?'

All the sudden, tears came down my face. I don't even know why I was crying.. I was in shock. I really though she actually liked me. I thought we really, actually kissed! But it was a dream?...
'Nico? Why are you crying?! Are you okay!?'
'M-maki..'
'Huh?..'
I started to hug Maki.
'Maki! It was really just a dream! I really though you actually liked me!'
'W-what are you talking about?..'
'My dream! I had a dream where you kissed me! But it was just a dream! I can't believe it..'

'Maki you don't get it! I've liked you for so long! And I've always felt like you never felt the same. Then you and Rin started dating! I knew this whole time, I could tell! It hurt me so bad! Knowing that I'll never have yo-'
Maki started hugging me.
'Well, this isn't a dream.'
'Maki...'
'This isn't a dream..'
She kissed me. She really kissed me! This wasn't a dream.. It wasn't a dream! She kissed me! It happened! Does this mean she actually likes me!?
She pulled away. I was still in tears.
'Nico, I'm sorry. I really like you too.. But I liked Rin at the same time. I was in a weird situation you know. I didn't wanna hurt Rin, but while I was protecting her, I didn't know it hurt you at the same time...
'Maki chan..'
'Nico. I wanna be with you forever! I and I'll promise that! I love you!'
At this point, I was sobbing. I was so relived. I was so happy my dreams came true. It worked out.. I'm so happy. I loved the way she hugged me. I was in Maki's arms. I am where I've always wanted to be..
'Maki.. I love you...'
'I feel the same exact way. And I don't care who finds out.'

I'm so happy. Did that really just happen? It did! I'm in cloud 9 right now! I love Maki so much..
