"Looking good," Joel smiles. "Thank you," I feel my cheeks get warm. Joel kisses Moriah goodbye, and we go out to his car again.
"What kind of show is this?" I ask. "Me and Luke are in a band. It's a concert," he says. "I think I remember mom telling me that you guys are singers. Can't wait to hear some of your tunes!" I exclaim.
It's only a short drive to the venue. I follow Joel inside. I spot Luke from across the room, and run up to greet him. "Hey Andria, I was hoping you'd come," he says, climbing off the stage and wrapping his arms around me.
"Andi, darling, come up here and meet the band," Joel gestures. He grabs my hand and helps me onto the stage.
"First, this is Ben. Ben, this is Andria, she'll be staying with me for a while," Joel says. I reach out to shake Ben's hand, but to my surprise he wraps his arms around me, "Nice to meet you."
He approaches a man with curly red hair. "This is Timmy "The Duke". Timmy, this is Andria," Joel introduces us. I reach out and shake Timmy's hand. "It's nice to meet you. Enjoy the show tonight."
We walk over to a man with dark curly hair, and a guitar. "This young bloke here, is Mark. Mark, meet Andria, Bryan's girl," Joel says. Mark wipes his hand on his jeans before shaking mine. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Andria."
We walk over to the last two guys. "This is Stephen and Blake," Joel points at each of them, "This is Andria." They both smile at me. "It's wonderful to meet you," Stephen says. "I'm sure you're going to love the show tonight," Blake says.
Joel and Luke take me backstage and introduce me to their dad, David. "You're Bryan's daughter?" He asks. I nod slightly, before being engulfed in his hug. "It's wonderful to meet you. Your dad was like a son to me, and I'm so glad you'll be staying with Joel for a while," he says.
"Okay, Andi, now that you've met everybody, are you ready for this show?" Luke asks. I nod, "I can't wait to hear you guys sing."
They do their soundcheck, and I'm blown away. They're so very talented and such great singers. In between soundcheck and the show, I help Luke set up the merchandise tables.
"Andria, dear, I want you to have these," he says, holding up two things. "The penny on this necklace signifies a woman's worth and that she is priceless. This bracelet says respect and honor, which is how to should be treated," he hands them both to me. I look at them, then smile up at him, "Thank you, Luke." He helps me carefully unpackage them and put them on.
We finish setting up the merch table, and go backstage. "Is it all set up, kiddo?" Ben asks. I nod, "Yep, and check it out!" I hold up my wrist and point to my necklace. "Luke got you all set up, didn't he?" Blake asks. I smile, "I love them! I can't wait til the show starts."
I find Joel sitting in a room with David. "Hey darling," Joel smiles. I sit down next to him, "Look at what Luke gave me." He grins, "And did Luke tell you what they mean?"
"Yes Luke did!" Luke exclaims from the doorway. I giggle, "I can't wait until the show starts." Joel laughs, "I can't wait either. Listen, there's this one special song I need your help with."

The concert is amazing, even though I only get a backstage view of everything. Before their next song, Joel signals to me. "We usually have one of our mates from the audience help us with this song, but tonight we're going to use our dear mate Andria," he says. I come out onto the stage, and stand next to Luke, while Joel has the audience sing some of the song.
"You ready, love?" Luke whispers into my ear. I nod at him and give him two thumbs up. The song "No Turning Back" starts playing. Luke grabs my one hand, and Joel the other. Together the three of us dance across the stage. The song ends, and Joel and Luke surround me in a group hug. "You did great, darling," Joel says. "Enjoy the rest of the show, dear," Luke says. I smile and run back to my seat backstage.
I watch the rest of the show in awe. What an amazing band! After they give their final bow, all seven of them run backstage.
"So, what did you think?" Mark asks. "YOU'RE SO GOOD!" I exclaim. "Did you see how many different instruments we all play?" Stephen questions. "Yes! It's so amazing watching you all!" I inform them. "Glad you enjoyed yourself," Blake ruffles my hair as he walks past.
"Well, darling, I reckon we better start home," Joel says. "Wait! I have to tell everybody goodbye!" I exclaim, running to find Ben, Blake, and Mark sitting chatting.
"Guys, I gotta go. But I loved the show. See ya'll later!" I exclaim. Ben wraps me up in another hug, "Take care Andria." Blake grins, at me and boops my nose, "See ya later, kiddo." Mark gives me a fist bump, "Stay outta trouble."
In the next room over, Stephen and Timmy are snacking. I wave at them, "Bye guys. I had a super fun time!" Stephen smiles, and hands me a fun size pack of M&M's, "Here are some snacks for the road." Timmy smiles at me, and waves, "See ya soon, girl!"
Finally in the room Joel was in earlier, I find David and Luke. "Bye David! It was so fun hanging with you during the show!" He hugs me, "I had a great time too. Hope to do it again some time."
Luke smiles at me. I run up to him and wrap my arms around him, "Thanks for everything Luke! I had such an awesome time." He continues smiling, "I'm glad, dear. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" I nod at him, "See ya!" He squeezes my hand, "Remember not to let Joel get into trouble." I smile and salute him, "Sir, yes, sir!"
Joel is waiting for me at the door, "It feels as if I've been waiting for hours." I playfully punch his shoulder, "Shut it!" We get to the car, and climb in.
"So how often do you guys have shows?" I ask. He shrugs, "Depends, but usually around four nights a week." I raise my eyebrows, "Does that mean you'll be leaving? You can't leave!"
He places his hand on my knee, "Woah, calm down. Don't worry, darling, I'm not on tour right now."
I feel the tears slipping out of my eyes, "But when you do have tour, you're just going to leave me?" He pulls the car off on the side of the road. He takes both of my hands in his, "I'm not going to leave you, Andria. I promise. I'm not going anywhere." I lean across and hug him fiercely, "Joel, I need you." He places his head on top of mine, and sighs, "Don't worry, dear, you've got me."
