As I am fully asleep I am able to remain fully conscious of my surroundings. I can feel my cold sweat leave my sweat glands and remain still on the exact place. Even though it is freezing in the room, I still manage to sweat just like I used to. My breathing begins to fasten itself as my dream gets more intense. I am doing something, but I don't know what because my true mind isn't focusing on the dream, but focusing on the true wonders of reality. I am now awake.

I sit up on my bed and grasp at my chest trying to reach something that I thought was there, but no longer was. What is it that I am looking for? I wipe the sweat off of my face and try to gather up all my thoughts and feelings of everything that has just happened within the last few minutes. Wait.

"Where am I?" My eyes have been physically open, but now not only are my eyes open, but as well as my mind. My breathing goes back to hyperventilation as I begin to panic. Why am I here? Why? How did I get here? What happened last night? It's not the fact that I don't know where I am, but the thing is..is that how in the world did I get here? I know it, but keep quiet because the true me has no idea.

"Emma?" I hear my moms voice begin to panic from the hallway. Was I breathing that loud? Wait...Why can I hear my mom? It feels as if I haven't been with my mom for years...

"MOM!" I scream with joy as I jump off my bed, open my bedroom door, and greet her with a welcoming hug. God I have missed these hugs. Was my dream so intense that it literally feels like it actually happened?

"Emma...you're awake." She doesn't seem as excited as I am at the moment.

"Yes I am. Am I in trouble? Did I do something wrong last night?" I questioned.

"Honey what are you talking about?" She releases herself from my grasp and welcomes herself into my room.

"Mom what's going on?" I am starting to get worried now.

"Are you feeling okay?" She asked.

"Wait what?" I sit beside her on my bed.

"You don't remember anything from last night?" She looked worried.

"Um no...why should I? Did I do something wrong? Mom seriously what is going on?"

"Emma...what is the last thing you remember?" She looked into my eyes sincerely and looked at me as if she was looking for an answer within my eyes.

"Um..." I looked down at my hands and my finger tips looked as if they had been singed off. I could feel my eyebrows move into a confused facial expression. "Well yesterday was my graduation at uh USD and I went out to celebrate with Bella right? Now that I think about it...why am I here Mom? I could have sworn we left the club and went to my place." I tried to examine my mom's facial expression, but I can't. She looked frightened and worried.

"Emma, right now is not the time to play jokes." She stated firmly, but still managed to have a tremble in her voice.

"Seriously what are you talking about Mom? I need to go back to my place. Bella is probably freaking out right now." I tried getting up from my old high school bed, but instead my mom pushed me back down and stood up herself. I looked up at her with disbelief that she did that. "What the hell is going on Mom?" I raised my voice.

"No! What the hell is going on with you Emma? Where the fuck were you for the entire summer?" My mom was screaming at me now for no reason.

"What the fuck are you talking about? Don't you understand that I have no idea what you're talking about?" I screamed back with irritation. At that moment I knew I triggered something because my mom started crying in fear, sadness, and anger.
