I opened my eyes big enough to leave a little crack in my eyelids and regretted it. I closed them back up and rolled my eyes to the back of my head. My head was burning. Whenever I would open my eyes my head would burn even more. Where am I? My whole body was numb and cold. I tried moving my head around, but couldn't. I stayed put where I was placed and waited for something to happen. All of a sudden there was a bright light shining through my eyelids making my head burn as if I put alcohol on a open wound.

"Okay let's go." I heard the man mumble. I flinched when I heard his name and kept my eyes shut. The back seat door opened and immediately I felt weight leave my legs. Was Bella laying on me again? I then heard him drag her body out of the car and then the noise disappeared. Where did they go? What time is it? Out of nowhere my head dropped instantly and hit something hard which only led to my head hurting even more. "Your turn." He stated right over me out of nowhere. I tried opening my eyes to get a good look at him, but the light hurt way too much. He yanked my arms and dragged me out of the car. I moved maybe a foot and the numbness in my body disappeared. My body was now filled with this unbearable pain. I tried to keep in my screams so he can think I am still unconscious. I could feel my skin being ripped apart right on top of my rib cage. Once my legs hit the ground I felt pain flood from my feet all the way to my forehead. I was now being dragged across a dirt path that was covered with what felt like a mixture of pebbles and glass. I slowly moved my head up towards him and tried to open my eyes without him noticing. I opened my eyes just enough to see a ray of light instantly hit my retinas. "There we go." He stopped walking and dropped me on cement. I moved my head around to find Bella and saw her unconscious body about a foot away from me. When I heard him coming back towards us, I quickly loved my head back to how it was when he dropped me.

"What am I going to do now?" He asked himself. I could feel his presence right above me...just standing there. I could tell by his footsteps that he started walking again, but instead of going back to the car, he started to drag Bella. Where was he taking her?

I tried moving my body just an inch so I could lay on my stomach to look around, but it had to be the hardest thing I could ever do. The gunshot that was in my right side was killing me at the moment. I used to feel complete warmth, until out of nowhere I got chills that made me feel permanently cold. I reached my right hand up that felt wet and moist and opened my eyes only to find out my entire arm was covered in my own blood. This isn't good at all. I then grew the courage to flip over and crawl my way towards the direction both the man and Bella went. That was when I noticed that Bella left her own bloody path as well. I then remembered that earlier he was beating her with a rock...

I moved one arm after another and had each leg follow each other, it was a slow progress, but I managed. I looked back to see how far I have traveled so far, only to find out I had only moved about a foot or two. If I get caught crawling my way to come find her I will be dead for sure. Why am I doing this? I stopped crawling and thought about what I was doing to myself right now. I have the chance to either crawl my way to find Bella and hopefully save the both of us or I have the chance to crawl my way back into the darkness that lies behind me hoping to survive with survivors guilt.

Why must I be this way? I know that if Bella were here watching me right now, she would instantly tell me to save myself. So why can't I? My best friend, well sister is in that building probably getting slaughtered into a million pieces and yet here I am lying on the floor not knowing whether to be selfish and save myself or a stupid hero to hopefully save both of us or kill both of us.

"Fuck it." I looked back forward and continued to crawl my way towards the building. I am not Bella and I never will be. I don't care if I am being stupid. I need to at least try to save her. I looked over to both of my sides and noticed a metal railing. I pulled together all my strength and reached my right arm up towards it and latched on to the railing. I could feel my open wound burst with instant pain, I could feel my skin slowly ripping farther and farther down my rib cage. Instead of being stupid and letting out a ear piercing scream, I quickly attached my teeth to my bottom lip and bit down hard. "Oh my god." I whispered as I stood up on both of my feet. I looked around to make sure there was no one else ready to attack. I looked forward at the large wooden door ahead of me and took a deep breath. "Time to be the hero." I mumbled.

I realized I had very little time left to find her, so I pulled my shit together and started to quickly walk my way to the door and eventually the pain in my side disappeared into nothing, but numbness. I then released my grip from the railing to the doorknob and opened the grand door....

"Jennifer...What do you think you're doing?" He whispered. I looked up into his eyes and saw nothing, but emptiness.
