Hospital

It's been 2 months since Hayes and Mark got back from tour and I'm now 6 months pregnant. Today we are going to see if I'm having a baby boy or a baby girl. Hayes comes up to my room.
Hayes: Are you ready to go Emily?
Emily: Yea.

Hayes comes over and grabs my hand and we walk to the car. We finally get to the hospital and me and Hayes go sits in the waiting room while Mark and Nash sign me in.
Dr.H: Emily Will.

Me and Hayes head back to the room and I sit on the chair thing.
Dr.H: Can you pull your shirt up Emily.

I pull my shirt up and he puts the gel on and starts rubbing the monitor on my stomach.
Dr.H: Uh oh. Dr. Clifford can you please come in here.

The dr leaves for a second and I look at Hayes worriedly.
Emily: Hayes what's wrong? *slightly crying*
Hayes: I don't know but we'll find out soon ok?
Emily: Ok.

Dr. H comes in the room with another dr following him.
Dr.H: Emily this is Dr. Clifford. We found something on the monitor but we are gonna fix it. Ok?
Emily: Ok.

The 2 doctors look on the the screen. Dr. C comes over and starts to run the monitor on my stomach.
Dr.H: Oh ok I see it. Emily you are gonna have twins.
Emily: Really.
Dr.H: Yes. Would you like to know the genders?
Emily: Yea.
Dr.H: Ok. You are gonna have a baby boy and a baby girl. I'll go print out the pictures.

The 2 doctors leave to get my pictures.

                     (AT HOME)
Once we get home me and Hayes go to my room and lay down on my bed and turn on Netflix. Halfway through the movie I lift my shirt up and put my hands on my stomach and whisper, "I can't wait to see you 2". I turn over towards my window and fall asleep.

(Hayes POV)
Emily falls asleep next to me so I turn around so I'm facing her back. I put my arms around her waist and fall asleep.

             (NEXT MORNING)
(Emily's POV)
I wake up the next morning feeling like I'm gonna throw up. I run to my bathroom and lean over the toilet and throw up. After I'm done throwing up I brush my teeth and head downstairs. I'm sitting at the counter eating french toast and talking to Mark when Hayes comes and sits by me.
Hayes: Good morning.
Emily: Morning.
Mark: What do you guys want to do today.
Emily: I don't k- Owwww
Mark: Emily what's wrong?!?!?!
Emily: I just got a really bad cramp in my lower part of my stomach.
Hayes: Ok we should probably go the the hospital. Mark can you go get Nash?
Mark: Yea.

Mark runs out the door to get Nash and Hayes grabs my hand and waist and helps me get in the car. About 1 minute later we are on our way to the hospital. When we get to the hospital the doctors take me back to a room with Hayes following behind. We get to the room and the doctors hook me up to machines and Hayes is holding my hand. The doctor starts rubbing the gel on my stomach and starts moving the monitor around.
Hayes: Is she and the baby's gonna be ok?
Dr.H: I don't know but we are gonna make sure ok?
Hayes: Ok.

About 10 minutes later the doctor sends Mark and Nash in the room.
Mark: Did they tell you what's wrong.
Emily: No not yet.
Mark: Oh.

The doctor comes in a little bit later.
Dr.H: Hi Emily. So the cramps that you had are called Braxton Hicks. You get it when you are at least 6 months pregnant and it can mean false labor or you are going into labor.
Hayes: So is she going into labor now or?
Dr.H: No she's not but I'm gonna proscribe a medication for you to take every time you get Braxton Hicks. Ok?
Emily: Ok.

The doctor leaves the room and comes back a few minutes later with a pill bottle. He gives me the bottle and gets me unhooked to all the machines.  Once we get home we all go sit on the couch and start watching movies about 9:00pm we all go to bed. Me and Hayes go to my room, Mark goes to his room and Nash sleeps in the guest room.
