"Daddy"

We get to L.A. and the house is preally nice and big.

This is the house☝️☝☝☝☝☝

This is my room☝️☝☝☝☝☝

This is the twins room☝️☝☝☝☝

This is Marks room☝️☝☝☝☝☝

This is Cameron's room☝️☝☝☝☝️

Once we get inside and get everything unpacked I put the twins in their bed and head to my bed and go to sleep. During the middle of the night I hear one of the twins start crying. I go into their room and see that Michael is crying. I go to his crib and grab him. I go sit in a rocking chair and start rocking the chair to get Michael to stop crying.
Emily: Shh baby please stop crying. We don't want Uncle Mark and Uncle Cam to wake up.

About 5 minutes later Michael is asleep in my arms. I get up and put him in his crib and go back to sleep.

            THE NEXT MORNING
I wake up the next morning with a text from Joey.
Joey: Hi Emily.
Emily: Hi Joey what's up?
Joey: Not much.
Emily: Oh fun. Lol.
Joey: Yep. How are you and the twins?
Emily: We are good. How are you?
Joey: I'm good. Look outside.

I look outside and see Joey. I drop my phone and run downstairs and out the front door and jump on Joey. I wrap my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck, he wraps his arms around my waist.
Emily: Joey how-why are you here? I missed you so much.
Joey: I heard that you moved and I wanted to come see you. I missed you to.
Emily: I can't believe that you are h-

I didn't finish what I was saying because Joey kissed me, I kiss him back and we pull away a bit later.
Joey: Emily I-I'm so sorry I've been waiting to do that for a long time.

I kiss him again, Joey sets me down on the ground.
Joey: I love you so much Emily. Will you please be my girlfriend?
Emily: Yes. I would love to Joey.

Me and Joey hold hands and walk back into the house. When we get in the house no one is up yet so we go back to my room and sit on my bed and turn on the tv. 30 minutes later I hear the twins crying so me and Joey head to their room. I go to pick up Maddie and Joey goes to pick up Michael, when Joey picks up Michael, Michael points to Joeys face and says "Daddy". Mine and Joeys eyes go wide.
Emily: Did he just call you daddy?
Joey: I-I don't know.  

Me and Joey just walk back to my room and sit on my bed with the twins. I get a FaceTime call from Hayes so I answer it.
Emily: Hello.
Hayes: Hi Emily. I called so I can see the twins.
Emily: Oh.

Joey hands me Michael so I have both twins on my lap. Michael points to Joey again and says daddy.
Hayes: Who is he calling daddy.
Emily: No one.
Hayes: He knows I'm his dad right?
Emily: Hayes, he knows your his dad.

After I said that Michael and Maddie both point at Joey and say daddy and start crying and reach for him. Joey takes them and puts them on his lap.
Hayes: Who are they calling daddy?
Emily: It's Joey. Ok. They know that you are their dad Hayes, I promise.
Hayes: If you promise how come they keep calling him daddy?
Emily: I don't know Hayes.

Hayes looks really hurt and sad then he hangs up.
Joey: What are we supposed to do about that?
Emily: I don't know.

Me and Joey get up and I have Michael and he has Maddie. We walk downstairs and see Cameron and Mark on the couch. We go stand in front of them and ask them something.
Emily: Can we talk to you two.
Cam: Yea sure what's up?
Emily: Well Hayes face timed me so he could see the twins and Joey was sitting by me and the twins both pointed to Joey and said "Daddy" and then started crying because they wanted Joey to pick them up and we don't know what to do.
Cam: Well was Hayes still on the phone when the twins did it?
Emily: Yea.
Mark: Well I guess if you and Joey talk about it maybe just stop talking to Hayes and if it's ok with you and Joey let the twins call him dad because I can tell you right now that Joey would be a better dad then Hayes would.
Joey: Ok.

Me and Joey walk to my room and sit on my bed.
Emily: I don't know what to do because Hayes doesn't live here and I would feel bad because I know that he loves the twins so much. He was crying when we left. And you don't live here either and you're always on the road with Magcon since you joined.
Joey: Well I don't mind them calling me dad it's up to you.
Emily: Ok I guess they will look up to you as a father figure because you will be here more that Hayes ever will be.

Just as I finish saying that Michael points to Joey again and says "daddy" again. Me and Joey laugh and look at each other and then he kisses me. I lay my head on his shoulder.
