Moving

1 YEAR LATER
The twins are now 1 year and 5 months old and I'm now 14 and gonna be 15 in a few months. Mark took Michael out for the day so I'm at home with Maddie. (Madison's nickname is Maddie)
I'm in my room when I hear a loud bang downstairs. I run to Maddie's room and see her jumping up and down in her crib. I grab her out of her crib and hear crying downstairs. I head down the stairs and see Mark sitting on the couch with Michael sitting on his lap.
Emily: What happened?
Mark: I'm so sorry Emily. I should have been watching him.
Emily: Mark what happened.

I put Maddie on the floor and go grab Michael from the couch.
Emily: Shh it's ok baby. Mark what happened?
Mark: I was trying to teach him how to walk when he fell forward and I tried to catch him but he fell and hit his little face.
Emily: It's ok. Shh It's ok baby. Please stop crying.

I hear Maddie start crying and I look down and see her crying and her hands up meaning she wants to be picked up. I lean down and put Michael on one hip and Maddie on the other hip.
Emily: Ok shh it's ok mommy has you.

They stop crying a little bit later and the the doorbell rings. I head over to the door and see Cameron.
Emily: Oh hi Cam. What's up?
Cam: I came to see if you guys are ready yet.
Emily: Ready for what?
Cam: Didn't Mark tell you.
Emily: No.
Cam: Well you, Mark and the twins are coming to live with me in LA.
Emily: Oh um ok. Let me go to Hayes so he can see the twins.

I head over to Hayes house and knock on the door. There's a girl I don't know that answers the door.
Girl: Hi you must be Emily.
Emily: Yea. Who are you?
Girl: Oh I'm Hayes girlfriend.
Emily: Oh. Just don't let him get you pregnant.
Girl: Haha I won't.
Emily: Anyways is Hayes here I need to talk to him.
Girl: Yea he's in the living room.

I walk threw the door to Hayes.
Hayes: Oh hi Emily. What are you doing here? It's not Friday yet.
Emily: I came over so you can see the twins for the last time.
Hayes: What do you mean?
Emily: Well apparently me,Mark and the twins are moving to L.A. with Cameron.
Hayes: HOW COME YOU DIDN'T TELL ME!!!!!!

The twins start crying.
Emily: Don't yell. Now look what you did you made the twins cry.
Hayes: I DON'T CARE WHY DIDN'T TELL ME THIS!!!!!!
Emily: I just found out that's why I came over. I thought that you would like to see them for the last time but apparently you don't care so we'll just leave now. Bye Hayes.
Hayes: No wait Emily. Please let me see them one last time.
Emily: Ok fine.

I hand Hayes the twins.
Emily: Can you watch them while I get packed?
Hayes: Yea.

I leave Hayes with the twins while I go get packed.

3 HOURS LATER
I'm done packing and I put everything in the moving van. I head over to Hayes house so I can get the twins. I knock on the door and Hayes comes to answer it and I see that his eyes are red and puffy.
Emily: Hi Hayes. Are you ok?
Hayes: Hi Emily. I'm fine I'm just gonna miss the twins so much.

I don't say anything I just give him a hug.
Emily: I'm so sorry Hayes. If I could stay here I would but I'm not in charge of it.
Hayes: I know you would because you care about your family. I love you and the twins so much Emily.
Emily: I love you to.

Hayes hands me the twins and we hug for the last time and he whispers in my ear "I will love you forever and I'm sorry for hurting you I love you so much never forget that" I nod and walk back to my house and put the twins in their car seats and get in the car and sit next to them. As we are driving I keep replaying in my head what Hayes said.
