I wake up the next morning to a voicemail from Hayes. The voicemail says this "Hi baby I love you so much. Keep care of the babies and I'll see you and our babies in 3 weeks. Ok? I love you more than the galaxy I'll call you 3 times a day. Mark wanted me to tell you that he left to and so did Nash so if you need something go to Joey. Ok? I love you bye baby". I get up to go go downstairs then the doorbell rings so I go to the door to answer it. Joey: Hi Emily. Emily: Oh hi Joey. Are you like moving or something like what's with the suitcase? Joey: Mark and Hayes wanted me to stay here with you until they get back so you don't go into labor while they are gone. Emily: Oh ok. You can sleep in the guest room. Joey: Ok.
Joey heads up to the guest room to put his suitcase in there. I go and sit on the couch to watch tv.
1 WEEK LATER I'm sitting on the couch with Joey watching a movie when I get a sharp pain in my stomach. Emily: Owwww Joey I need to go to the hospital I think it's time. Joey: Sh*t ok take deep breaths let me go get my mom.
Joey leaves really fast to go get his mom and 5 minutes later we are on our way to the hospital. We get to the hospital and the doctors take me back with Joey following right behind while his mom waits in the waiting room. Once I'm hooked up to all the machines the doctor comes in. Dr.H: Hello again Emily. So this time it's not a false labor you are in labor but you are only 3 centimeters dilated. So I'll come check on you in a few.
The doctor leaves the room and i turn to Joey. Emily: Joey can you grab my phone out of my bag please.
Joey hands me my phone and I call Hayes. (Hayes POV) I'm on the stage with everybody when I get called back to the backstage. I go to the backstage and the manager hands me my phone. Hayes: Hello. Emily: Hayes, I just wanted to let you know that I'm at the hospital. I went into labor. Hayes: What. Ok I'm on my way hold on. Emily: Hayes you don't have to come finish the tour. Hayes: No I want to come there and be with you. I'll see you in a little bit.
I hang the phone up and put it in my pocket and go on stage again and whisper to mark. Hayes: Mark Emily's in labor. Mark: Wait are you serious. Hayes: Yes. Mark: Ok let me go tell Nash. You go tell Cameron. Hayes: Ok.
I run over to Cameron and whisper. Hayes: Me, Mark and Nash have to go. Emily just went into labor she's at the hospital now. Cameron: Ok. Can I announce it? Hayes: Yea. Cameron: Hey everybody. Give Hayes around of applause he has to go now he's gonna be dad.
Everyone starts clapping and me, Mark and Nash wave and run off stage. Nash starts to drive because we are only a few hours away. We arrive at the hospital 3 hours later. (Emily's POV) It's been 3 hours since I talked to Hayes on the phone and I'm at 9 centimeters dilated. My contractions are 3 minutes apart and it hurts really bad to where I'm crying. Emily: Joey it really hurts. I want it to be over with now. Joey: Shh it's going to be ok. I promise. Ok? Emily: Ok. Where's Hayes at? I want him to be here for the babies birth.
Just as I said that the door opens and Hayes comes rushing to the bed. Emily: Hayes you're here. I was so scared that you would miss it. Hayes: Shh it's ok. I'm here now ok. And so is Joey.
After Hayes says that the doctor comes in the room. Dr.H: Emily you are now 10 centimeters dilated so we need start now ok? Emily: Ok. Joey: I'll see you in a bit good luck.
Joey leaves the room and Hayes grabs my hand and kisses my cheek. Dr.H: Ok Emily I need you to start pushing ok? Emily: Ok.
I start pushing. Emily: AHHHHH!!!!!!! IT HURTS SO MUCH HAYES!!!!!!AHHHH!!!!!! Hayes: I know it does baby. You're doing great.
45 minutes later I'm done pushing and the doctors are cleaning up the twins. Hayes: You did great baby. Emily: Thanks.
5 minutes later the doctors brings the babies to us. He hands me the twins. I smile really wide and look over at Hayes and see a big smile on his face. I start to cry with joy. Emily: They're so cute. Do you want to hold one? Hayes: Yes.
I hand Hayes one of the twins and Mark, Nash and Joey walk in the room. Mark: Oh Emily they are so adorable what did you name them. Emily: Meet Michael Hayden Grier and Madison Haley Grier.
