Chapter 1: Discover

The icy morning breeze wips through my fur; the smell of fresh pine fills my lungs; the sound crunching sound of leaves under my paws.

My name is Celina Rose Peters and I am a white wolf.

You're supposed to find your mate on your 16th birthday but I wasn't so lucky, I'm hoping I'll find him soon. I need him, I crave him to be by my side. The reason I need him is simple. A wolf needs their mate because we hold so much strength that its hard to hold back that sometimes you just want to kill the person closest to you and the only one to tame it is your mate.

I was too busy day dreaming about how it woud feel having my mates arms around me, my inner turmoil would settle. The hairs on my back raise and my wolf ears twitch.

Snap!

I slowed my speed down and sniffed the air, I familiar scent caught my attention.

'Shit! Shit! Not good!' My wolf, Lily, yelled.

I start to pick up my speed, sprinting round trees and boulders hoping to throw them off but with no such luck. I could hear him getting closer and closer with every turn, I sped up running as fast as I could, my head throbbed as my blood pumped around my body faster than my paws hitting the forest floor, or though it was painful I didn't dare stop.

One minute I'm running through the forest next thing I know I'm tumbling down a steep bank landing on my back with a huge brown wolf on top of me. He bared his teeth at me and snared demanding me to submit, I turned to expose my neck as a sign of submitting to him.

'Shift! now.' He spoke through our mind-link while hopping off me.

I quickly ran behind a tree where I had spare clothes stashed away. Walking back over I saw he had changed as well.

"Not bad, but you need to be better! If rouges catch you then your dead by now, got it?"

I groaned. "Yes dad"

"Good, now get your lazy ass back to the house and pack the rest of your stuff" He said before turning around and shifting in mid air running back to the house, I sigh but not loud enough for him to hear then proceed to follow behind him, my head hanging low.
