Chapter 8:
Soon after Mason had carried me home he got a call from his Father who demanded that he had to come home because of some pack paperwork he didn't finish, so after many kisses he drove off down the road with me standing at the door waving.
I sighed and closed the door, running upstairs to shower and change into proper clothes.
Turning the shower on and hopping in, running my the shampoo through my hair, rinsing out then repeating with conditioner. Next I grabbed my razor and shaved my legs when I finished I turned the water off I grabbed my towel and patted down my body to dry, wrapping my hair up in the towel and slipping into my silky pink undie set and putting on my matching pink robe.
I exited the bathroom, glidding onto my bed pulling my math book out to start my homework but just as I was about to put my pen to the page I spotted the rock on the floor, it was cracked with something inside, I got up so fast I fell off the bed landing straight on my face.
'Klutz much...'
"Thanks so much for the support Lilly." I snarked sarcastically.
'No problem butter figures.' I shut her out. I had had enough of her remarks.
I crawled towards the rock, picking it up and discovering a note hidden inside, just as I was about to read it when suddenly the front door slams open and I hear my five brothers running up the stairs yelling my name. I quickly hid the note under my pillow just before the guys all fell into my room piled up by the door.
"We have Mcdonalds for dinner!" They all shouted, pulling me downstairs to the table.
We all sat at the table, without dad, he was too busy with 'work'.
All through dinner I couldn't stop thinking about that note, what would it say? Who wrote it? And was it to do with the accident?
I can't believe I was thinking this but could my brothers please eat faster!
