I gave her pieces of chocolate while she ate happily, chomping on every bits of it.
"You don't know how much I missed you," I hugged her not too tightly, and she cuddled closer to me.
"How's your stay at Mitch's?" I asked her. She gave me a smile and wagged her tail. I always drop her off at Mitch's place when I go on quests because I found out that she loves to play with his pet, Pikachu. Now they're best buddies, not to mention the relationship with Mitch and I.
"I'll be back soon. See you later! Bye!" After feeding her a piece of chocolate, I sent her back to the portal. She yapped for the last time, and disappeared.
How I will miss her presence.
Then, I started to pack up. I had little things, so it did not take much time to stuff everything into one suitcase after checking my reflection in the mirror, I went to my bookshelves. Shifting a few books here and there, I stepped back.
The shelves started to move. Slowly, the entrance formed. I looked at my room one last time, and walked to the entrance. I could hear the bookshelves closing behind me
But I could not hear Lachlan's screams.
Of terror.
