Moving Away

You are moving away to college.
The words keep repeating in my head over and over again. Wow that's new.

Hey, my name is Tashi. Tashi William but everyone call me Tash. I am 18 years old and still I can't make my own decision by myself. It is not that I am not capable of, i am best in decision making as there is a wall full of frames showing the certificate I had gotten on organizing leader, hanging on my side of the room.

I have been sharing room with my small sister since she was just 3 years old. I have two sisters.Sofia, who is older than me and 21 years old studying medical and then there is myself who just graduated High school and then after me, there is my sweet little cute baby sister Juliet who is 8 years old and in elementary school. Juliet is my life, i can do everything for her. She is the reason I am living for her, only her. There goes my mood but I am not going to think about it again no not now.

My dad works in a company as a manager and my mom is a house wife . We are a typical middle class family who lives in a nice house in town but everything is going to change now because only my family is going to live here and I am going to move.

My mom, Jennifer William,had wanted me to become a doctor just like her Sofia but I am not a doctor type. I always wanted to become a singer but my mom is not having it so she decided to make me move away into a business college in the neighboring town.

Well, she is always like this. She always made me do what she wants, not what I want and due to this reason we fight alot but she is a good mother. She is the backbone of this house and I love her for it. We never had a loving daughter mother relationship because she treats me like a bad student who needs constant scolding so I do good in every subject of life but that's okay though because sometimes, I act like a spoil brat but hey I am again not going there not now.

So as I was saying I am moving away but it is not the worst part because I am excited and happy that I am leaving this house , the worst part of it is I am going to live in a dorm and with someone. I like my privacy even though i share room with my lil sis but as I told you she is my life so there is no comparison for her.

I was wondering in my own world that reside in my head with my beloved vampire and my hot mate wolf and a sexy CEO when someone knocks on the door before entering. My dad, William Johnson, enters the room and sits beside me, on the bed.

"Hey, my Light." He said and i smile hearing my middle name 'light' yes it is my middle name, don't laugh at it. My dad gave me my middle name because according to him when I was born, I smile which lights the whole room so he gave me this name and now I'm stuck with it.

"Hey, daddy" I said and look at his face.He has a soft look on his face as he looks down at me. Truth be told, he loves me more than my sisters but don't judge him. There is another reason for this favoritism and that is I'm the exact replica copy of him.

You can see same brown golden hair,light brown eyes which shine in the sun. I am not slim or skinny, I am what you call healthy but not fat either. I used to be fat in the past. Past well that sucks.

"How are you ? " he asks and avoids eye contact with me.

"I am good, dad" I smiled . He looks at my smile and smiles. My father is a handsome man. A good father, a perfect one but he acts like annoying brother sometimes so that we can know what it is like to have a brother. I mentally shake my head.

"I am sorry that you have to move away, you know it is hard for me too to send you away but your mother thinks it's best for you. And you know that, right? Your mother always thinks what is good for you"

Like hell good for me. I look at the direction of my guitar which is by my bed. My dad follows my gaze and sighs.

" Don't be sad, baby girl because I have a news for you and you will definitely like it" I hear him say and my head snaps toward him my eyes sparks with anticipation,my smile wide. well as you can guess I like surprises and I am very easy to please. Dad looks at my face and chuckles before messing my hair.

"Well I got a job for you" I narrow my eyes in him in mock glare put a hand on my chest, a fake gasp escapes my lips.

"Oh my my. My own dad saying to get a job but rather in a nice way. I am a burden. God, why me ? " I fake sob. I hear my dad laughing before he smacks the back of my head. I start laughing along with him.

"So drama queen, as I was saying to get a job old lady but don't bother i already got a job for you and it is in a restaurant which is near your college and the place you got there is of a singer" he completed his sentence and throws a knowing smile at me.

I stand on my bed and fist pump the air. I always wanted to do that well just for practice you know but my mom strictly denied me. Yeah fun blocker. Ughh..

With that said, my dad stands up from the bed and looks at my form still standing on the bed a fist freeze in the mid air.

"You are weird " he declares and starts to walk out but before shutting the door, he looks back at me and says one thing which I love to hear . " I love you, Light. Never forget that and you are my weird daughter".

I fall down on my bed, my face up at the ceiling of my room which is full with shining stars. I love night it brings me peace. It is weekend tomorrow and I have to leave after a week for my college.

Sofia is with her boyfriend, David O'here, on a date. He is a sweet guy and he has made me his sister (who he never has because he is the only child of his parents) instantly when we had met for first time but he loves my sister a lot, I can see that. He is with her in the same medical school. Juliet is downstairs watching "Dora ". My mom? Probably arranging things for me which I will need. Well, I am a lazy-no I'm not! I just love to rest.

Please God don't make me hate college, I sent a silent prayer up before closing my eyes. It doesn't take long before I fall asleep into deep slumber with my oh-so imaginary beloved vampire. Heaven.
