Insecurities

Tashi POV :

"Hey Tash, I have heard that you sing also. Come on, play for us. "

I was swinging myself back and forth in my seat that is a wooden log when I heard him say those words. My eyes widen as I look at Matthew. I was completely enjoying myself what the hell !

I look at Emma to find her smirking making me sigh. She can't keep her big mouth shut, right?

I look around everyone to find them looking at me expectantly while a certain someone which is Brittany is glaring at me. What is her problem? I roll my eyes mentally at her.

Currently, we are all sitting around the fire and Matthew, who had introduced himself to us just a while ago, was singing songs. He is in senior year and also the football player of our college team.

"Uh- I don't know..." I whisper putting a strand of hair behind my ear. I am not nervous to sing in front of the audience but I feel nervous when Jason is looking at me intensely. Gahhh I can't play when he is looking at me like that.

"Oh come on! Here take this." He thrusts his guitar in my hand and looks at me, smiling and raise an eyebrow at me urging me to start. Sweat beads form on my forehead, I wipe them off with my sleeves before looking at the guitar. I adjust it in my lap while stringing few cores randomly and take a deep breath.

Which song? Umm. TELL ME WHICH SONG DAMIT!

"Which song...." I trail off looking at them all with furrowed eyebrows.

"Oh anything.. "

"Yeah..."

"Umm.."

"Whatever you like...."

I heard few replies before a voice reply,

"Let her go by Passenger." I look at Emma and smile.She loves this song way too much, she always murmurs this song every time. ( Just imagine the song above in girl's voice) 

I close my eyes, taking a deep breath before opening them. My eyes connect with Jason's but I break the contact by looking at the fire and start singing.

After finishing the song, I look up at everyone to find them gawking at me.Even Brittany is looking at me with wide eyes. It is not to gawk at someone people!! I scowl at them.

Then they start cheering me, making me blush but I grin at them anyways.Jason is smirking at me when I look at him, there is again those unreadable emotions in his eyes which make me suck a deep breath.He holds my gaze for a second before giving me a wink, I roll my eyes at him before moving my eyes at Matthew when he calls out my name. I raise my eyebrow at him to continue.

"You are really good at this, girl!"He exclaims with excitement. I murmur a quiet 'Thankyou' before standing up and yelling out.

"Who's ready for the next?!" They cheer and howls and just like that we spent our day singing and dancing.
